I've tried this area once few weekends ago and again last night and LE was all over this place and there wasnt a sw in sight.

I'm new to this forum so I hope to learn about some cooler spots.

Where is it located and are they still open?

I read in our neighborhood newspaper that someone was set up for a robbery by a prostitute that he took to the Edgebrook Motel, 6401 W. Touhy. He picked up the prostitute at Diversey & Narragansett and took her to the motel after stopping at the atm machine. After they were in the room, there was a knock and a man entered, pointed a gun and demanded money. The victim fled and kept the woman from grabbing his wallet. The prostitute was a black woman, age 18 to 22.

Several mistakes by the monger here. Never hit the ATM after the pickup; always have whatever money you think you may need in your wallet before she gets in the car. This applies even if you weren't intent on mongering at the time. If that means you miss an opportunity, so be it.

I'm going to infer that going to the motel was the SW's idea. It generally isn't a good idea to go to a place of their choosing unless you're familiar with the area. Since he drove about six miles from the pickup point to the motel, that probably wasn't the case. When I've done it, I use the bathroom to make sure there aren't any surprises and I make sure the door is locked. I'm as prepared as possible for anything in these circumstances. If the motel was his idea, then lock the door and get to business ASAP.

The story doesn't sound completely kosher; I'm certain there are key details that were left out of the story, more than likely because the monger is embarrassed.

Well, did anyone go the SEXPO at Excalibur? If so how was it?

She started by flashing her Puss at the crowd and then there went a finger in then what apeared to be a couple fingers in. I was on the 3rd floor so I couldnt snap any pics but there has to be some floating around the net. A couple of minutes later she was throw out of the place for taking her dress off. Did I mention she was comando? Oh and I'm pretty sure her boob job cost more than my car.

Pleasant Plains woman indicted in alleged prostitution network

A Pleasant Plains woman is among 16 women and one man indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury in Peoria on charges they participated in operating a multistate prostitution network.

L. Deanna Dean, 61, and the other defendants will be issued summonses to appear at a later date in U.S. District Court in Springfield.

The indictment alleges that the 17 people conspired from at least February 2007 to March 2008 to operate prostitution businesses in 11 states. The defendants allegedly provided prostitutes with a place to live and scheduled and arranged for customers.

Dean is alleged to have operated a house of prostitution in Springfield. No specific location was given.

The indictment also accuses the 17 of discussing various attributes of the women over the phone, where they also arranged to operate their respective businesses and shuttle prostitutes among the various states from one business to another.

“Those who traffic women for sex and seek to profit from it should expect to be aggressively investigated and prosecuted,” said Rodger Heaton, U.S. attorney for the Central District of Illinois.
In addition to Dean, those indicted are:

Sheila E. Briggs, also known as Amy Briggs, 62, of Barnesville, Ohio; Joyce Carter, 55, of Blythewood, S.C.; Dolores Crozier, 71, of Philadelphia; Kimberly Dallas, 39, of Anderson, S.C.; Tina Flynn, 67, of Detroit; Joyce Gage, 51, of Campbell, Ohio; Doris Groth, 78, of Chicago; Barbara Jones, 67, of Youngstown, Ohio; Rosemary Marriott, 79, of Philadelphia; Alecia McGuire, 46, of St. Louis; Danny Ray Odell, 50, of Delrio, Tenn.; Shirley Ollis, 59, of Wise, N.C.; Linda Scott, 61, of Hollywood, Fla.; Libbe Siskind, 57, of Brookline, Mass.; Frances Thompson, 69, of Talladega, Ala.; and Ernestine Venable, 60, of West Bloomfield, Mich.

The indictment lists several telephone calls allegedly made between Dean and others in the conspiracy in which business practices, the availability of various prostitutes and travel arrangements are discussed.

On Jan. 8, 2008, Dean allegedly asked Dolores Crozier of Philadelphia to provide her with the names of good prostitutes looking for “a good place to work.”

Then on Jan. 11, Dean and McGuire are accused of discussing how McGuire’s business was doing, the attributes and character of a prostitute called Monica, and that prostitutes should travel from McGuire’s business in St. Louis to Dean’s in Springfield.

The same day, Dean allegedly asked Linda Scott if Scott had any young girls coming through her business. Scott replied that a certain prostitute was supposed to arrive but never did.

In a Dec. 2, 2007, conversation, Dean and Joyce Gage of Campbell, Ohio, allegedly discussed the price that should be charged when two prostitutes are involved with one customer.

Dean and Siskind allegedly discussed later that month whether Dean used older prostitutes.

Dean said she did, but also had some younger men looking for “yuppie younger girls,” according to the indictment.

Siskind said that a prostitute called Chelsea “was that type of girl.”

Dean also allegedly talked with Thompson about a prostitute called Amanda who had come to Thompson’s business after Amanda had been beaten. Dean and Thompson agreed it didn’t make sense to send Amada to a new business in that condition, the indictment says.

The charges are the result of an investigation by the FBI. Assistant U.S. attorneys Patrick Chesley and Gregory Gilmore are prosecuting the case.

The conspiracy offense carries a possible penalty of up to five years in prison. Inducing interstate travel to engage in prostitution is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.[/quote]
