I have a grooms party in town this week and the best man wants to "get crazy" and karaoke. I'm familiar with the AMP scene but not kbars / vbars. Are the karaoke in private rooms or is it public? If the latter, does the whole bar kinda get into the singing or is it just listening to a solo singer? I was originally thinking something like Wang Chung, but the best man stated he wanted to get some action. Part of me wants to ditch him at a MP, while the rest of us go karaoke somewhere. Mahalo for all your advice.

But it's going to cost big bucks somewhere around $500 each or in that neighborhood (or more). Much more affordable is just go to any bar and get a table (s) for the group. Pay as you go No Tab. Repeat. NoTab. Keep watch for your best man who wants to get crazy. Someone is going to be paying big bucks and getting nothing at the end of the night. He could be trouble or cause unfortunate drama.

GT upstairs is your best bet.

But pretty much that's it, I don't have much respect for the parasite KBG that have no moral in leading some guy on only for stink finger action while emptying his wallet. They should get a real job and not compete among themselves who gets that $600 purse, BMW or brag on some stupid sugar daddy wasting his money when he can get much better hot college females who can actually hold a logical intelligent conversation with some tuition and allowance. My friend actually has some account and has about 4 different hot college females on his watch.

I also heard that Vegas Club and or Starlight is pretty good, but haven't been there recently. With the recent changes in ownership at some of these places, the action might be good for a little while. Good hunting to you.

Where are bars with the [U]hot local chicks[/U] working? Used to have that restaurant on the corner of Ward Ave and Halekauwila St. When they closed down, the kitchen and staff moved to Home Bar on Kalakaua Ave. Please share your favorite spots!

Classy women, but knew what the nearly all-male clientele wanted (wearing low-cut tank tops and tight jeans).

Been seeing more and more gays visiting the kb's. Wondering why? Nothing wrong with that, it's just an observation. 1010, lilac, and gt is where I have seen the most. Kbg know how to make the $$, whatever means necessary, I guess!

Regularly see a chunky mahu cruising through the Waiakamilo complex. He spends most of his time making small talk complementing the kbgs while eyeing up the male customers. No issues with that. Have intermittently seen lesbian couples at Lucky Honu on weekends enjoying the karaoke and cold beer. Everyone gets along fine. Stay Safe this week.

It's been awhile since I was out and about. Past week hit Starlite, 5-O, and Green Tea. GT by far the busiest. All tables taken and a few bar stools empty. The bartenders were nice and attentive. Bobbie has been around for years and the other one (forget name) was displaying her fun bags nicely (she is mongolian). Moved to 5-O. Way fewer in there. Couple of older kbgs I remember from previous covid days, Donna and Brandy were pushing for drinkees. Moved on to Starlite. Ran into 3 prior kbgs I knew. Age has not really treated them kindly (of course who am I to complain). The mama Tina I think was her name was treating our table very nicely. Choke food and reciprocal drinks. Dropped some dollars there but I think it was close to being worth it because of all the food. Rankings for the night. Starlite for the food and friendly mama plus fun bags KBG Sunny was a nice view. GT cause the bartenders were so attentive and friendly. 5-O meh. Saw a couple of old friends had a few laughs and moved on.

Wow have not seen Auntie Bobby since pre-covid, good to hear she is still around. She has been one of Uncle's favorite Bartendresses for some 20+ years. She takes care of her regulars very well. Treat Uncle like VIP, without the VIP price. Always find room for Uncle, even on a busy Friday night. Auntie Bobby not the full bodied Cabernet that Uncle usually prefers, but more like a Prosecco, clean, crisp and bubbly. If you're good to her, she'll return the favor in spades.
