Make kids work for education
For those guys who don't have kids, the money that they would have spent on raising the kids can instead be spent on the joys of mongering. The current average cost of raising one American kid to eighteen years of age (even without any college expenses) is estimated to be over $272,000, and may be even higher in Hawaii.
I don't have kids nor did I joined the "sucker's club" of marriage. And glad I choose the route of singleness and accomplished allot regarding the mysteries of the human Psyche that would have never happened if one gets stuck on the marriage, kids ball and chain. Life is more than some obligation to work, work and more work and not enjoy the female youth that resides in the various AMP and other places. Parents should make their kids work for their education and serves them right to have responsibilities.

HPD screwup taxpayer pays
Looks like 10 million the city is spending to these individuals that survived.
That's a lot of recruits and lots of potholes that could have been spent for.
No brains are hard to teach and learn.
Why is it always us taxpayers who ends up paying for lawsuits that HPD cops screwups either by shooting or in this case, running some car off the road? There should be a law that goes after the rogue cops first, garnish their pay, savings, house no pension if convicted so they cannot be like their former HPD Chief Kealoha, in jail and still getting $10,000 a month in pension.
