Hey everyone, well I had a lapse of memory and good sense and renewed and hoping things have gotten a little better and legit here. Any recommendations of legit women 30 plus years old near Chester VA? Prefer White / Russian / Latin / Asian / Pacific. TIA.

IK there are tech types who read here, my? Is about what is unsafe about my personal cell phone (not my burner phone) when I am out of pocket seeing a SB. On all the police procedurals, they are locating people instantly by where their cell phones are pinging. Is this capability available only to LE? Never my SO? IK that some people (sadly) have an iPhone w / a FindMyIPphone app on it, and that likely inhibits them from meeting up w / SBs where they aren't supposed to be. Also, are there records kept (I guess by your cell provider) of where the phone was pinging at all times?
Can my SO in any way shape or form track where I have been based on my cell phone? Should I therefore turn the dam thing off before I go off my well-trodden path to meet up w / a SB?

Best advice is shut your cell phone off and purchase a cash only burner phone that has the capability to use apps like Text Now for texting and voice calls. A good divorce attorney along with hiring a private investigator can get a court order to subpoena personal cell phone and internet records and activity from providers.
If they start talking about cryptocurrency then it's surely a scam.

And I get all of my medical advice from Dr. Google. I asked dudes here because I though they would know, not send me off to google it myself. I *do* have a burner, my question was what I should do w / my regular cell. Sometimes I might like to show a POT a pic of my dog or something, I can plan ahead and put that on my burner of course.
I was annoyed that it isn't as easy as it used to be to add a girl to my contacts on GV on my Android phone. You have to go into People and then click a little headshot icon. However, this is paying dividends online. I access GV at home through a webpage, and now, the contact name I have given a girl on my phone is showing up there, rather than just the number, like it used to be.

Nutshell. SO cannot without court order obtain records (as mentioned by someone else you'd have to be in the proceedings for divorce and denied relations under oath to get it legally). In MOST cases they log in to a shared account and / or account access. Arguably if they modify something or you didn't give them access (separate accounts) there are nefarious means as outlined in the article to follow ya. And that's really about how crazy you think your SO is willing to go.
That said, if your concern is LE. Basically one phone call to your service provider and they can trace you. Not as easy as on procedural dramas (they're technically violating a number of laws) but a form faxed or e-mailed or even a phone call gets them what they need with minimal effort. Most don't even need a warrant. Unless they're dotting the I's for the info cause your the main suspect and this info is key to the case. And they still may inadvertently be tracking you if they have a Stingray running for another case.
As you mentioned. If you want to show pictures, move some over to an account in the most anonymous way possible, probably offline if possible. If you really want no fingerprints on the burner. Take a picture of the picture on a big display / computer. Remember data tracks from your phone to an account upload then to your burner ruins the anonymity of the burner. And at this point, I'm assuming you know how to get rid of geolocation tags on your pics if you do get them there.

This is outside my area of expertise, but I believe the only way to know for sure is either to use an iPhone or a detector made specifically for this purpose.

The legality of it is a lawyer fight.
The safest thing to do is turn it off and leave it elsewhere. "Opps must have forgotten to charge my phone and it died".
People are more often caught not because of weakness in their procedures and protocols but because the forgot a step in their procedures and protocols. The creator of silk road was caught because he accidentally logged in with the wrong account one time. The simpler and fewer steps in your procedures and protocols the less likely you are to skip or forget them. I. E. This is my real phone I don't do any sketchy shit on it and don't have it on me when I'm off to do sketchy shit.

I am just trying to avoid a situation where the SO gets a whim about what / where I am and just does something random that reveals my activities. This is why the find my iPhone function is a worry to anyone. I've seen guys post here about this, where it pretty much knocks them out of the sugar bowl / mongering. I happen to have an Android phone for both my burner and regular phone, and luckily my SO is OK w / the latter even though many family members have iPhones.

The public tracker can be turned off but the private tracker the phone company and EMS has access to is never off. I don't think the police can access your location data w / o a warrant. Literally, if the phone is off? How about if I take the battery out? Is there a difference there.
With respect to my original post, not the specific one you replied to, I already said that my question regarded whether I should take my regular cell phone into a place I'll be seeing a SB. I have a Tracfone burner running GV that I use for all sugaring.
