All my boys are married and watching their wallets so I haven't been out to the bars in a long time. Thinking of hitting one solo. But if you can spare some tips:
1. Best day / time to go in order to not get hounded nonstop for drinks but at the same time ready to pay for play. A time where the hostess is bored enough to do it for a buck but not bored enough to try and con me for love in the future.
2. I'm thinking Kalihi Bars or should I chance the Kapiolani area?
I'm a middled aged looking asian dude so I won't look that out of place. LOL. Just looking to grab a few beers and a quickie if possible without a long dragged out negotiation. If it happens it happens, but I'm cool with just drinking a few beers alone too.

Kalihi probably better if not.

Try New Business on Kapiolani, they got two big bar counters to sit down at to watch your favorite game. They even have a sushi chef at one end of the counters. The time I went, Darren the bartender from Evergreen was there, his counter was going off, overflowing with his regulars. I had to sit at the other bar counter, but that was all good as well, as I had a pretty bartendress taking care of me. The booths were not busy, as I must have been a bit early, around nine, only a few hostesses at the time, with Mama san checking on me, asking if I needed any company. Overall just a chill place to relax and hang out, before going for dessert.

Stopped by on Tuesday, lots of customers but they only have 1 decent K girl who probably is a 7-8 on looks, but is super fun and friendly. The rest is an odd mix of Korean, Russians, Chinese and Viets. Not really a KB vibe. The 2 Russians are pretty decent looking and friendly, but rather high nosed and fake business type friendliness. Sandy has morphed further as a big headed heavy push style Mama. I maybe wrong, but I think things will go down hill pretty quickly. Not going to be splash 2.

Speaking from experience, agree with your predicted downhill slide for this place as the mix of BGs are historically enemies, especially the Russians and their attitudes are hated by Asians in general. Like many KB guys, heard Vegas was going to be changing to Sandra and crew so went early on Tuesday to check it out and avoid the LVB crowd. Even early, the front bar was kinda full and was given the obligatory plate like many kb grand openings in the past. The only holdover I seen was Jay but we left before the bar got really full. Thanks RugMuncha for your great report and I concur with your assessment. We then went accross to Aqua where its relaxing with great food. Lina is a great cook. Fun can be had here if you got game, hehe. Next stop was GreenTee and sat at the bar and Silvia always has great food also. I must say most of the kbgs on Tuesday not that hot looking and older but some are willing for play. Lilac which we went for 1 drink has younger and prettier girls but lack personality which is why they not as busy and they could be. Mamas there are nice but thier girls suck. Luck honu has a vet crew of girls that seem more playful with a couple of viet girls.
Actually, I was more interested in the new Splash crew and know Jun mama is very sharp at running her bars and went yesterday (thurs) early to see what's up. Jun mama's right hand man Ron? Was setting things up early afternoon getting ready for new crew getting intructions from Jun. Two young hotties were manning the small bar in front and was surprised that the back bar was full early afternoon. I was told the new mama's name is Song. On Monday I went to see the championship game at BTV, it's my favorite spot to grab a few beers and watch a good game. The place is huge, really comfortable, great food and parking is never an issue. Saw Ellie and Sandra there, several eye-catching new girls and a few of the veteran hotties. Quite a challenge for them, moving over from town. I wish them the best. Sandra in particular, she tries really hard to create a better bar. Must be tough to be one of the hottest mamas, still in her early 40's, holds a degree, and speaks better English than me (but that's not too hard). She needs to brush up on her pidgin! LOL! One really good choice they made is to open BTV on Sundays again, just in time for the playoffs and Super Bowl. I know I'll be there this Sunday to watch the 9 ers / Dallas and Pitt / KC.

To me, it seemed like it was two bars setup in a warehouse with not much charm. Daytime almost nobody was working so I didn't stay there long.
Many girls like working for Ellie mama. She is another smart cookie. I hope those two ladies can fix up the place and do well. I will have to pay Back to Vegas a couple of visits and see how they are doing. I wonder who they will have working there daytime. Hopefully it won't be a ghost town again.

Pool tables, dart boards, karaoke and surprisingly young (mid to late 20's) female staff with a Korean mama. Kitchen skills are ok to good, beer is cold, and the eye candy is to my liking with a mix of local and mainland girls. Some days it's crickets and some days it's lively. Could be a good spot to watch the SuperBowl.

I'm from the west side so often go PC bars like Acacia and Sunflower which were kind of slow weds afternoon. Lily and her sister which I met on the tour long ago and are probably the better looking ones at Acacia. Hazel and mama are not bad either but teho. One of the jokes to guys from the girls there. if you want an 80 yo, choose Hana Marie. I asked if she really was that old and they said yes!
My buddie drinks green tea so we hit Spotlite in Kalihi where Sue and Tina tended bar and are a step up from PC girls imo. Nikki mama was looking hot and we left after the grinds but had a nice time.

I went over to Back to Vegas the other day, got to meet some of the new young ladies. There's Danica, a cute young local mix who bartends and also works the floor. She just got back from the Midwest where she went for school. Very pretty and good conversation. Another new girl there is Berry, a nice Korean hottie from K-town in LA. She's only been in the 808 for 3 weeks now. Hope she likes it here and stays. Both girls are in their 20's, a refreshing change from the norm. Sandra's recruiting skills have improved nicely, can't wait to see who's next. I was told that they will be having a live band every last Friday of the month at 8:00 pm. This bar seems to be getting better every day. I'm going there this Sunday again to catch the playoff games, Rams play Bradyville at 10, BTV opens at 12 so I'll see the 2nd half, then Buffalo at KC. Can Mahomes get there 3 years in a row? We'll see. Buffalo manhandled the Pats last week. Both spreads are less than 3 points, should be good.

Many of the girls have a complicated living arrangement so you will probably have to be the host for any playtime activities outside of the bar. They won't bring you home to their husbands, family, boyfriends, or friends that they are living with.
She will probably leave you before the sun comes up and she will probably tell that special someone that she is living with that she is sorry to come home so late, but she had to take care of one of her "friends" that had too much to drink.

To my recollection, the mama and the girl were not bad looking just didn't want to spend more money. I don't really remember going to Pandora but we did, so I can't recall who worked here that night or if there were any girls worth mentioning. To end the night apparently went to Angel Relaxation, I vaguely remember Julie talking to me and asking if I was drunk and that Mini (yes I know I already reported she's on vacation) wasn't there, funny that she already knew why I stopped by.

Was in the area, so thought I'd check out Waterfall. Went in and was surprised mama remembered me! I guess when she was at Kools / London hub, I was there on a regular basis. Just loved doing Kyong and her tight ass pussy! But mama very nice and asked me how I been. Told her I was fine and asked how she was. Went to the bar and ordered my drink. Was immediately approached by Kim. Asked if I wanted company, told her just got in and maybe later. It's a slow night, so she doesn't leave my side. Wanted to talk to mama and ask her about Kyong and Choi. But she disappeared, so finished my drink and left disappointed. All the "ladies" were old and haggard looking. Definitely not going back.

Has anyone been to Kalihi Station recently? It's on Kohou St along the canal. A pretty decent chill bar. Sunny is the owner, Minet and Tina are there along with some other long time KB vets. Down the road is Back to Vegas, they will have a live band tomorrow night. Sandra and Christine are there most every night. Also Darren the bartender in the backside bar. He is always great conversation and a super good cook. He puts out some of the best pupus in town. I will definitely be at both bars to watch some of the March Madness games. Does Gonzaga finally break through and win it all this year? That freshman Holmgren is a beast! How do you defend him a years or 2 from now as he progresses and puts on a few more pounds? Scary!
