Ok, here is were things went wrong for me: I ALWAYS ask for proof that the girl not work for Leo, ALWAYS. I have never had an issue with this until now. She was unwilling in the parking lot to prove and she insisted on being paid upfront. She wanted money before getting out of the car. So, there we sit in my car, she wanting money first, and me wanting proof before we take this further. We obviously can't make this arrangement happen and she asks for a cancellation fee of. 2

I am totally discussed at this point and I refuse to pay any cancellation fee. I told her to go in, get a room, call me up and we can prove in room. She refuses and keeps asking for money upfront. After 10 minutes of this bs she gets out of my car and I leave.

So, I ask you fellow mongers, was I wrong? She certainly made me feel like I was the idiot here. I am always trying to be careful who I am dealing with and have never had this issue before.

Doesn't seem like LEO but does seem like a scam. Upfront out in the car is very strange.

Not only is she probably trying to scam you, but security cameras could pick-up the exchange of funds. I wouldn't have waited for her to show up. She'd have to get the room before I'd pull into the lot. Any deviation from that course resulted in me cancelling, the last time it happened. Loitering in the lot can raise red flags to the motel staff.

I set the appointment, I will call 10 minutes before the agreed-upon time, you give me the room number, and meet me at the door in a way that shows you are not LE. I don't spell it out like that, but if it deviates from that plan I'm out. That said, I had a similar situation with a Bambi girl years ago. I get to the room which is in a house, she proves she's not LE, and the upselling begins. She tells me she needs $100 because I saw her with her top off- I told her I could get that at any strip club for free. I ended up giving her $20 and felt ripped off. I chalked it up to one of those learning experiences.

1. What is a "spinner"?

2. Who is Sol Marie that I keep reading about every now and then?

3. How do you do a LEO check really? I've never done one at all and rely on reports / reviews to ensure I land a safe provider. I don't even know what or how to ask really.

These are questions that I've been always meaning to ask, but the last few reports kind of motivated me to write in this time.
