Entering Mexico is a different matter. There you need a passport (or card) so you can get your visa.
Got with the spinner walker again yesterday. She has been on the run from some very unsavory characters who might have been trying to kill her over a misunderstanding. My problem is if I'm partying I don't want to come back into San ysidro and drive home. Never a good idea. So I get a room in Tijuana and head back the next day where the line is 3 hrs long.

The longest I have had to wait is maybe 6 minutes max but usually within one New York minute and I am through.

I don't do any overseas travel, and would feel strange in the interview saying I want it to expedite going to Tijuana for cheap pussy. Is it reasonable to say I want it just to expedite check-in for domestic flights?

The interview was the easiest part. The agent just asked me if everything on the application was true. It was. He took my picture. Easy peezy.

My answer was anticipation of lots of international travel in the near future. They didn't ask for more specifics, but I was prepared to answer carribean, Europe, and Asia. I would not have answered anything about Zona Norte. Who's to question what we think we will do in the future?

Gracias![/QUOTE]Just to be clear, Mexico Lindo Bar, which till the late 1990's was one of the classiest hooker bars in Tijuana, has been closed since mid-2000's or so. There is a Mexico Lindo escort web site. I'm pretty sure they don't operate out of the old bar location.

Last night the 13th was unlucky for one bar patron in Zona Norte. At about 7 PM a gunman walked in the bar Copa Cabana and opened fire killing one person and wounding a man and a woman. Allegedly the policia caught a suspect. It was reported the dead man was targeted. The bar is located at 138 Constitution on the east side of the street between Calle Primero and the Callejon Coahuila.

Been learning a lot about the inner doings of the Zona from my SW spinner. There are very clear cut zones of influence controlled by many different groups. They cooperate with each other as long as noone tries to horn in on somebody elses territory. Within these zones are subgroups that control different activities. The police are everywhere. When I was leaving the Hotel Campamento with my spinner yesterday there were two masked policemen on the landing of the stairwell with a guy up against the wall. Real cleancut looking guy too. Had to squeeze past them and outside were four more of their partners. These look like Policia Federales well armed and sporting black masks. My spinner said the police have been leaning heavily on everyone but American mongers. One walker she knew with warrants in the USA got put in a wagon and was given a choice of paying 300 pesos or being handed over at the USA Border. She also said the pokice have even been picking on disabled panhandlers because the police think mongers have been giving them money in the Christmas spirit. I saw a few police pickup trunks with a bunch of younger guys in the beds.
