Went there earlier this week and they were surprisingly mask compliant.

Noticed Japanese, Vietnamese and Mongolian ladies there too.

Stopped by Friday night and it was busy during the World Series game but emptied out after game over. Lilac and Honu have been good as can be re masking mandate since they were both previously busted for it. Green T has remained the worst in that regard. Stay Safe.

AFAIK there are Mongol, Viet and Korean ladies there. I've not aware of any Japanese or even Chinese ladies. Maybe some new staff / floor ladies? There were 2 Japanese ladies working at Lilac but they are no longer. Interestingly you can sometimes find a Korean BG that speaks Japanese fluently. Some of them have worked or also work retail jobs in Waikiki & Ala Moana SC. Stay Safe.

Wonder if this will work at Splash. Checked it out for the 1st time recently. Normal sign your info on the paper, vac check, temp check. The bartenders at the back bar were the hottest girls in there. Think one was the mama, at least that's what I heard a few of the waiters call her.

Carried money and all but I think the problem is that we are not regulars so nobody gave us the time of day. Even offered to buy dtinks for one of the bartenders because she was sitting with a group of guys drinking when we first got there but she just blew us off. Then when a regular that she obviously knew came in, she went to drink with him. It was a disappointing and uneventful night. Ended up just drinking and then left a big tip for another bartender because she gave us really good service. Was always right there to check on our drinks, gave us snacks, and didn't just ignore us like the others.

So am I right? Is it because we were new faces that mostly all the girls paid no attention to us?

Received good service / attention, decent pupu. Usually buy at least 1 neko and leave enough to cover food. Dropped in late / prime time with a wingman and bar full so end up on booth. Pretty much ignored so called out one of the old ladies who clears the tables. Ended up having a few brews w / o drawing any attention from the floor ladies. There seemed to be a lot of regulars there so unless she is w / o customer they won't attempt to establish a new host parasite relationship. I may be wrong but sometimes your dress / appearance will influence the amount & nature of attention you draw. I've been into the same KB dressed / groomed differently and the service from the same staff was totally different, until they blew my cover. The ladies try to balance their need to obtain new hosts but no lose the current ones. If there is conflict they will usually go with their steady unless he's not buying. Stay Safe.

If you are a regular and they know you, they will be more than happy to spend time with you. However, if you are new to the bar, it will be a YMMV situation until they get use to seeing you there. I usually go to Splash often so I get pretty good service since the bartenders know me and know that I will take care of then with several drinks. The one thing I have noticed at most bars is that if you are a cheapskate, word gets around pretty fast about how cheap you are. These girls are working to earn a living so buying them a drink or two for their company is good for customer relations. Just my opinion.

If you are just wanting company in the bar then one or two drinks will go a long way for that especially when it is slow for them.

Don't expect much if she is busy with other customers, if you want that girl then you will be better off by ask her for an appointment with her for another time when she is working. The popular ones give out time slots in advance and you will be expected to keep her filled with drinks for the time you are with her. It doesn't matter to me what she drinks it is just the cost per hour of her time.

We are just another accessory for them to use and the greater perceived value they see us, the better for us. They like to be with the "whales" than to be with the "minnows" that come into the bar. That gives the girl better status with the other girls in the bar.

It is nice sometimes to keep a low profile and not be harassed by some of these bar girls looking for my money.

They know that they will have to give me their full attention when I setup that appointment ahead of time. They probably won't sneak in a drink with a stranger when she is busy taking my money.

But when I show up without an appointment with the girl, I don't have that claim on her time and she might be working taking your money and I will either have to wait for her to finish or setup another time to see her.

You going be tested all the time by how much the KBGs can get away with (money, favors, etc.); some of them always looking for 'something for nothing;' the established KBGs ack more sassy. But, as previously stated here, once they get to know your style (not cheap, dumb Charlie) then one understanding is established, IMO.

This probably applies to most if not all the other bars as well. If they don't know you and you're not a regular and they have their regulars there who they know will spend money the whole night, they will unfortunately favor their regulars. I'm guessing it was busy when you went as well?

I think there's some truth to what both of you guys said. I never seen it or experienced first hand the difference in dressing up or down making a difference, it was just more about what's in your wallet and how much you're willing to spend. I get it though, for some of these bar girls their reputation with whom they are seen with and how the customer is dressed / groomed / accessorized might matter if they decide to sit with you or not regardless if you have money to spend.

I guess I've never had the urge to spend more than 1 or a few drinks on a girl but if I did feel like splurging and seen a girl that caught my eye and wanted to spend a long time with her then I'll know to setup an appointment especially so she don't sneak a drink with another customer.

Yes, you will definitely get treated differently if you are a regular or at least if they recognize you as someone who has patronized the bar well.

I guess the hunting challenge is what I'm interested in. When at bars, I try to observe the rate at which the girls get drinks. What is a good rate to buy drinks? Thanks.

Hey I got a question for all you experts. I have a few friends that their fathers got divorced and sort of hooked up with kb girls. Don't know if they got divorced first cause they were going to KBs or after they got divorced. I was a young kid when this was happening. But anyway one of them I am pretty sure married one and he was like maybe late 50's or 60's and we think he married her to get her to stay in the country? Cause he never mentioned it to my friend but my friend saw some letters address to mrs so and so. My question after all of that. How much would you estimate he spent in the the bar to get to that level? Or how much are these dads spending a month when their wives divorce them? I went to a private school. So I don't doubt these fathers of my friends were upper or middle class. Maybe not lawyers or doctors, but engineers or top sales guys. Or union heads. Haha.

The one hot looking bartender was drinking with a group of guys at the amaller bar closer to the front door but then they left and it was dead. She went back behind the big bar closer to the kitchen and we offered to buy her a drink but she kinda just snobbed us and didn't answer at all. Didn't serve us either until that one guy that she obviously knew came. We must just be ugly, haha!

Does anyone happen to know who these girls are? One, I am assuming is a mama. Other good looking one, skinny but she snobbed us. The third one was cute too and really friendly. That's why she got the good tip.

If you get the bar girls chasing you, some girls will try to take you to bed without any effort from you. But you must be first noticed by the girls in the bar in a good way. Generally you get that by being very selective about who and when you buy drinks. To say what Blackbriar stated in another way, try being chill and not so open to spend money on any girl that asks you and be ready to tell the girls you are not interested in to get lost. The bottom feeders should leave you alone after that.

If you let your hands wander around too much then the prey will become the hunter. These girls will hunt you down and kill your wallet since they know horny guys are easy targets. Maybe a quick visit to the AMPs can slow down your hands.

If you hang around the bottom feeders, then the top tier girls (you know the good looking ones that the bar pays signon bonuses, salaries, health insurance etc.) will not be willing to go home with you.

Remember that most of these bar girls are so vain and it is all about themselves and what value they think you can provide them.

She has a major case of Korean princess disease. And she still goes to bed with her bar customers too.

With the green card marriages sex may or may not be included in the contract (most are open to negotiate that) and the girls will generally pay you to marry them.

The Big Excuse is that "business is bijiness" so whatever cutthroat shat they do is permissible because "that's not me; it's someone else. " LOL. I not going bare my personal experiences (over the years) here but to allow me to remind those with minds: it's OK to fool around with one KBG / AMP wahine; just no get involved because that's their job (just ack like they got you and do the reverse end-run). They are not pros in bed, but pros in only in taking your money. The worst AMP girl out there is probably a lot better than any of the KBGs with sex but I have not tried everyone that is working in Honolulu nor do I want to.

You have to know that when it comes to money you are up against the Korean working girl, and we are no match. Sometimes I may want to play the naive LVB for faster results, time is money too. They sometimes invite you to come to the bar early (between 8 am and 11 am) for play when they get there. This is done discreetly so you need to keep your mouth shut about these women.
