I have seen this practice at several different AMPs and until you pointed it out never thought much about it. I agree it isn't sanitary but my gut feeling is that if sanitation is a big priority for you that you shouldn't be going to AMPs. Like I feel pretty sure that if you knew the full extent of sanitary practices at these places that you wouldn't go near them.

It's best to have some hand sanitizer cleaner / baby wipes in the car. You don't know what's on those door knobs and be sure to take a shower at home regardless how thorough that table shower was.

Sorry for being late to put this in but with the holidays I've been busy. Scheduling with her took a bit of work.
