When to Tijuana for a little break from work. I booked a room at hotel Cascada, reservation only, then paid for the room using my card then $30 deposit cash only.

Got in Tijuana Sunday night about 6. A few Guardia Nacionale pick ups and trucks were roaming around the bar block, each carrying 6 to 12 soldiers in tactical gears, armed with machine guns. Half a dozen were standing guard in front of the OXXO store in the alley. The air was filled with a sense of urgency and danger.

Weather was cold, 50 F, not too many guys and girls were on the streets. No dealers were dealing drugs in the alley this night, but a woman carrying a basket on Constitucion was mumbling, Cuanto Cuanto. Guys told me CJNG has been pushing aggressively into trafficking drugs in Tijuana and selling in La Zona Norte. A few weeks back, the 2 street dealers shot in the alley and ran into Chavelas back door were Sinaloa guys taken out by CJNG, one died, one survived. The woman shot multiple times in front of Malquerida was CNJG dealer taken out by Sinaloa in revenge. Guys told me CJNG is using women to sell on the streets in La Zona as the most popular drugs market where lots of drugs of any kinds are sold day and night at the lowest prices. For the last few years there has been a fierce competition going on between warring cartels for control of La Zona Norte.
HK had intels on cartels' bubbling war, beefed up security with extra guys and armed commercial cops in tactical gears carrying shiny Glocks at each door, squinting their eyes, scanning the street, looking grim like John Wayne facing assaulting Indians. Knowing how cheap HK's owner is, employing managers, captains, security guys on call only when needed, adding extra guys and armed security guards 24/7 at the doors is very serious and expensive, indicating the club is facing very serious security threats between warring cartels fighting for its control.

Inside HK was packed for a Sunday night, no seats or tables were vacant. Jabba the Butt and other narcos biosses were not in the house raining money to hog all attention, thank God. At that point, I had to pony up the $90, wondering all the time if it was wasted. Anyway, they were as good as their word. Several other folks were on the bus and they took us across and dropped us in the bus line for USA Customs which had no line at all. Within a few minutes I was out the door within just a couple more minutes. Then, I started to wondering how things worked after that. At the ticket booth, they said someone would meet me on the USA Side. About that time, my cell phone rang. They had asked for my number when I paid at the ticket booth. The caller was a driver who said he was there for me, and he took me straight to the airport and dropped me off at the door to the terminal. When I repeatedly asked to begin with and then later asked the driver who was much more proficient in English about me not having Sentri or GE, they all said it did not matter because the bus driver did and the bus company, as near as I could understand it, had some type of special dispensation. Anyway, even though it worked out fine, I am still a little nervous about whether it was all legitimate. The last thing I want to do is run into any problems, so I welcome your feedback about this process. I had never heard about anything like this before.

You can pay $300 to buy her out of the club for the whole night, but this is in addition to what the girl charges you. Be somewhat careful to agree on what the whole night is, though. Many will try to find some excuse. Have to run downstairs for a minute to give keys to roommate, etc. , after 3-5 hours and will just disappear. I try to avoid this by paying no more than half her fee up front and hold tight to no more than that up front and have an agreement about the earliest time she will leave, unless I have done this with her previously and know she will not try to bail earlier.

According to the article there is a shuttle service from Revolution street bus station 3 blocks away from La zona and to the boarder bypass the line. Very affordable $10 Ticket needs to be pre-purchased and preapproved by us customs. According to the article it'll drop you to the front of the line with in 30 minutes day or night.
