Just won't keep you LEO free. They can actually obtain sign up info and IP address, etc and track the source of the call. Unless they are seeking suspects, etc they will not go to this length. But I did have a LEO call my toss a way phone after a certain "lady" was arrested. Started with a few texts and then a call. Needless to say. If a girl is in your phone you likely know her habits and text patterns and know when her man or someone else is trying to be her.

The throw away. Pay as you go. Is in fact the way to go. Always pay cash. Always reload with cards from cash. Never charge anything or sign up for anything. For the minimal cost. Disposable phones are the way to go. They really arent that expensive and is well worth it. My is turned off almost all the time. Only when I am expecting a call, do I turn it on.

I went with a trac phone. Different phones available, and you can decide how many minutes to purchase. I expected to use it a little, but I ended up with much more minutes than I needed.

Just don't be as dumb as I am. I was checking posts on BP and seeing if they matched any numbers on my phone, and I got up to do something. Completely forgot about the phone.
