I tried responding to some posts there but a few issues:

1. No idea if the post was today, yesterday, last week or a month ago. Each post is not date stamped.

2. You are replying blind, so no idea who or what you are replying to. You show your email address, but do not see the poster's email until or unless they respond to you. So if you use an IRL email you could be adding data to some scammer's list for future blackmail.

3. I got a lot of spam from replies there and once that started, it got shared and I was constantly getting spam.

4. Just like the old CL CE section, you are fishing with limited info about the poster and hoping they are real and that your one "shot" hits home.

5. Follow the rules and DO NOT offer $ for any kind of sex act in one's initial email. Just saying.

So some may enjoy the "hunt" of responding there and patiently respond to every post and deal with the spam that results. I figured there were more productive places to spend one's time.

But hey YMMV and perhaps I'm missing something and others can share techniques that work on the site?
