I'm a filmmaker and I want to get into the adult industry when I move to Cali this summer. Basically I need to build a portfolio. I have a big enough portfolio for regular video work, but nothing to show that I can handle shooting adult content. Obviously it's hard to find these opportunities here in Milwaukee. I'm reaching out to you guys for suggestions. Any providers you know of that would be open to this? Message me please, doesn't have to be a public discussion.
I don't want to be in the videos, and actually if any of you guys want to set something up with a provider and have me tape the session (or maybe put together a gangbang?) I can film and edit it, and give you all rights to the footage and edits to do with what you please. Sell the videos, do whatever. I just need some experience and it's been really hard for me to find participants. Especially since I can't afford thousands of dollars for talent.

There are rules to follow. If your goal is to get into the adult film business, I'd learn those rules. Doing so will make you a more attractive resource. If you do it incorrectly, you're placing yourself in great legal peril. More so than just mongering, since there's a video record of it. You get into local obscenity laws as well as potential prostitution. I'm not a lawyer, but I'd tread carefully. Maybe start with some soft-porn PG-13 sorta stuff. Faking it a bit, it may be easier to get someone to play along if they know they're not being filmed in an illegal act.

Study the United States Code of Regulations, under title Title 18, Section 2257. If you do video already you should understand already the need for a Model's Release, the need to understand copyright law, usage license for the model. If the video becomes public, commercially available, and you haven't followed the provisions of 2257 to the T, they will slaughter you in court.
