You can't play the lowball card if your throwing around cash to interview every dancer. Case in point, I was at Players and this blonde sits down and starts chatting with me, one of the first thing she mentions is some dancer fucks guys for 20 bucks and points her out. I'm barely past the name stage so a big red flag pops up. In my mind a girl who's pointing out what she considers a skank won't be doing extra's, the opposite is true when a known provider points out her friends in the bar. Nothing is 100% though. She then asks for a drink to which I say no. I got all the information I needed without spending a dime, had a girl pointed out to me who did extra's and figured out pretty quickly I wasn't going to get extra's from said dancer. Personally I never offer them drinks and the smart one's know that when a waitress comes by and asks if 'we' need anything not to say that she'd like a drink. If your going to stick to a $120 offer, slapping down $10 on a drink for the girl is a sure sign that you'll spend money. Another problem that can arrise is paying for drinks when your negotiating with a girl, she's seeing how much green you have when you go to pay the waitress. One reason to always keep some small bills in a shirt pocket for tipping the girls on the stage and paying for a beer.
With all of the posts that I've made, I think it should be quite obvious that I'm a veteran at this game and that I'm well aware of how to gather information and pricing. It should also be obvious that if I bought a drink for every girl that stopped by, I'd quickly be broke or spending at least double what I'd planned to spend. I will buy a drink for a girl that I'm interested in doing at that time or possibly, at a future time. If I'm not interested in seeing her at some point, I say no as well.
I don't care if she sees what I have in my wallet when I buy a drink or tip, because my price is my price. She can either take it or leave it and I have the ability to walk away. There's no girl that I can't say no too. If she balks at $. 20, I give her my standard logic. My standard logic is that I explain that $. 20 may seem cheap and that she might find a guy and get $$ or more once and then he doesn't come back to see her, because it's too pricey. I then explain that if we do $. 20 and have a good time, that I'll come back to see her again and again and again (which I do, if it's good) and that over time, she'll make thousands off of me. That speech almost works almost 100% of the time. Even if a girl walks away and says no, she typically comes back later in the evening if I'm still there and accepts.
Angel at the Criket was a perfect example of this. When I first met her, she wanted $$ and I told her that was too much and gave her my speech. She left but came back around later that night and we went for $. 20 and that's been the same price ever since. The only exception to that is that I'll give her a tip if she lets me fuck her in the ass and that's an extra. 2 but I haven't seen her in a while and that last couple times I did, she said she wasn't doing anal anymore because she had a bad experience with a guy and went home bleeding. So, it was back to the normal stuff with her and I and back to the $. 2.
Sometimes, I don't get to the speech part though. Last week, I was at Bogart's and saw Renee (the Drew Barrymore lookalike) there. She sees me up there often and we've just never gotten to the point of going in the VIP, because I'm usually already dealing with one of my semi regulars. Anyway, on this particular night, it was kind of slow and none of my semi regulars were there, so I spoke to Renee as she was passing by. Renee has been on my "to do" list for a while, so I figured I'd just go with it. I pulled her over, leaned to her ear and said "I'll give you $. 20 if you want to go fuck" and she said I can do it for $. 5 and I said no. Then, she said she could do a blow job for $. 2 and I said no. She then said "Sorry, babe" and I said "No problem" and smiled. I wasn't there much longer after that, so whether she would have came back around later and accepted, I don't know. Either way, we both know where we stand and at some point, she may come back around and agree to it. If not, that's ok too. As a side note, I was at Bogart's tonight but I didn't see her there.
I have a tendency to see the same three or four girls on a semi regular basis but I don't get hooked on any of them. There's no flag planted. They know this and I know it. It's just that once I find a girl that gets me off really well and we get comfortable with each other, she knows she's going to see me again at some point. Another benefit to this is that girls talk and that other dancers see this and if we end up going back, they know they can get in on the cash flow at some point too and that makes it easier to negotiate with them too.
In truth, I kind of think of myself as the perfect customer: I'm a regular, there's no hassle or risk of me shorting or cheating them, I'm clean cut, extremely hygienic and have fairly standard menu routine (CBJ or BBBJ, CG, RCG with a K9 finish). The point of this is that familarity has its advantages in more ways than one.
As long as I'm writing this, I'll just post my club review. As I mentioned I was at Bogart's earlier tonight. It was slow and the talent was so-so at best. Veda was the star attraction and the rest of the talent was average. Veda and I talked briefly and she had to go on stage. After she came down, she came over and said she'd be back and went to another table to drink for a bit. I didn't stick around long and left for H8 N. As a side note, I always talk to Veda and we've spoken about going back a number of times but just haven't yet. She's interested and willing and has pointed out to me that she has no gag reflex. I told her I'd heard that she rushes and she said that it's not true. I also told her that I wanted to fuck and that it's hard for me to get off from just head. She would have fucked but nature was preventing things like that for her at that time. She's a "to do" and I'm sure I'll have no trouble negotiating with her.
Anyway, I went down to H8 N and it was slow too. There were a couple of girls that are usually at Bogart's or H8's but I ended up seeing little Ashley. Ashley had gained about 15-20 pounds and most all of it went to her hips and ass but she's lost the weight and is back down to her former tiny spinner self. Standard pricing, standard menu and all was good.
I'll piggyback this comment but start by saying that I've never been to the Flight Club.
Pussy is a commodity and a commodity is worth exactly what the buyer and seller agree to pay for it, regardless if the backdrop is glitz and glamour or not. Bills have to be paid and obligations have to be met, so when it comes down to it, money is money and it's all in how bad they want or need it.
My angle on negotiations is usually much more straightforward. We have a drink, chat and get to know each other a bit and if it seems we're both interested, I'll lean in and give her my offer of $. If she balks, I'll go to $. 20 and stop there. Either she takes it or leaves it and if she leaves, that's fine, because there's plenty of girls that will be happy to make $. 20 for a few minutes of their time. More times than not, if they walk away, they generally come back around and accept the offer anyway.
Sounds like that would work but it leaves you in a take it or leave it position. Which is fine. If I assume I'm going to get into some negotiation there is a floor to the top amount I'll pay and the bottom amount the dancer will take. Having said that the dollar amount will fall on or between these numbers or nothing will happen. Understanding that the dancer will also want to negotiate and get as much as she can I find it to be more productive for them to throw out a number. If my figure is around a hundred which is towards the low side of what girls get in my opinion. If I offer the hundred they will only counter higher. If they throw out a number first it allows me to do what I have described. I don't think there is a right or wrong, each dancer is different and our personal style of negotiation is what works well for us. From a psychological perspective, I also want the girl to feel she won, not got beat up, they usually perform better. Have fun!
But we have to be cognitive of the dancers agenda.....
It might help some of the guys to study the difference between negotiating and bargaining. The first is about what is right and is a win-win. The second is about who is right and has one winner and one loser. Choose carefully if you plan on a repeat session.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm in no way an expert on Detroit stripclubs, but I have been around the block so to speak. Quality has been hit and miss, had to turn down many ugly girls to find a decent girl. I was sitting at Players a week or two ago and was talking to a senior poster from this board who pointed out most of the girls who did extra's, the three hottest one's I was eyeing didn't do extra's. I'm not used to that, in the Fkk's there are always a dozen stunners if not more available. Only in North America are there 'stripclubs' where girls only strip, in Europe if a girl wants to make money she goes to a club to fuck. I will say $120 is max I'm willing to pay for 15 minutes of fun, that's half the time and double the money than in the Fkk's.
Now from what I can tell from the Detroit clubs, you've got to be a regular and be seen at the club. Really helps with the negotiations. As to buying girls drinks, I just don't do it. If the girl's after the money in my wallet, she won't act offended when I tell the waitress that we are fine. Last time I bought a girl a drink she pulled down her panties and let me finger her and her friend did the same for my buddy, we even fingered each others girls. But this was in Thailand where girls can be had all night for $40.
Players has been by far the best club, Col and BT's next door are hit and miss. Bogarts and H8 have only had decent talent on one of my visits. Silver Cricket was slow but I haven't made it there on a weekend yet.

The reason is simple: it is not feasible to counter an unreasonable price by saying "That price is out of line, I'm hopping on a plane and heading to Germany (or Thailand or Mexico) where the price is more reasonable. " But Detroit does have a good check on unreasonable prices- you can always say no and wait for a more reasonable offer from: a) the same dancer, often later in the shift as her tip outs become due; b) a different dancer in the same club or c) simply relocate to another of the many fine Detroit clubs with more reasonable pricing and within easy driving distance of each other.
By the way, there are some clubs where the dancers pressure each other to keep prices unreasonably high (Flight Club suffers from this dancer cartel problem-- unrealistically elevated prices across the board as a result of strippers pressuring each other to keep the prices high). The price fixing strategy sometimes works for the naive customer but it has an unfortunate side effect for the club- it discourages return visits and drives customers away to clubs with more reasonable pricing. I made two visits to the Flight Club last week and I was struck at how empty the club was, especially during an afternoon visit. In contrast, the Landing Strip, which features more reasonable pricing, was pretty busy. But that is the nature of negotiating a price for a service-- the seller of the service tries to sell their services at a high price (but with the risk that it will drive some customers away) and the buyer tries to minimize their costs but still end up with the desired services (or a roughly equivalent but different service).

Global economy.

Both, Electronman and the StripperLover are making good points. I experienced Germany's FKKs last year and that is something we definitely don't have here in US but we should. The economy is global so should be the pussy too.
Also, I wonder if somebody knows what happened to Amina. She used to dance night shift at BT's Dearborn under stage name Beautiful and Cricket as Amina. Last month or so I could not see her. Any info appreciated.

A quick tip.
As a former bouncer at a strip club, I can assure you that all bouncers know who provides extras. And if yhey were anything like me, you "guided" business to them which resulted in tips from the customer and the dancer. Just FYI!

Can't count the number of times I've been to a club where the girls were all complaining about lack of money but none made any attempt to gain access to my funds. Don't need to have action every time I go out, if it doesn't work out I put that cash into my piggy bank for future trips.
Made a run on Saturday, stopped by Col, Players and H8. Players and Col were slow to start but the talent eventually started coming out. Went with a cute blonde at Col with no tits but a great ass, forget her name. Performance was average at best. I did break my rule and overpay by a few bucks but I write it off as being seen going in the back with a known provider and becoming more of a regular in the bars. H8 was pretty bad, only one girl worth looking at, the rest were pretty ugly. Ask myself why I'm bothering checking out Bogarts and H8 anymore.
Is a 4 or 5 songcount the most these girls are willing to give? I'm used to having 30 minutes or longer when I go across the pond, these girls start sucking and by the start of the 3rd song they are asking if your ready to cum yet.

Landing Strip
Found myself at The Landing Strip tonight and there were some fantastic looking women there. Got a couple dances from a stunning brunette and was quoted $$$ for CBJ. I thought that was a bit outrageous, despite the fact that I found the dancer in question to be ridiculously hot. She even said that price was kind of a discount. Sheesh. I'm not really an extras guyalthough I was actually very tempted to start being one at that momentbut even if I was that sounded crazy. What think you?

Amber?
Does anyone remember a brunette named Amber who worked at Club Venus she had big tip and was a little chubby? Ever since Venus got rid of the VIP she's stopped working there.

Saturday night
This Saturday night I'll be in Detroit with some time to kill. It's been a few years since I've visited any of the strip clubs. My fav used to be Penthouse but Landing strip, Collesium, and flight club were always fun as well. If you had time to visit only one club (probably between 9-11 pm) which one would you chose? In order of importance: looks of dancers, availability of extras, price of extras from the dancers. I'm well aware of the extra costs associated with flight club and penthouse club (valet and expensive drinks). Area of Detroit doesn't matter too much. I'll be dropping a friend off at the airport but don't necessarily need to visit a club in that area.
