Streetwalker Reports

I did spent about two hours cruising The Valley last night and it was dead. Vineland, Lankershim, Sherman Way, Van Nuys Blvd, Sepulveda, then Sherman Way to Tampa, Parthenia to Reseda, back down to Sherman Way and a couple laps up and down Sepulveda got me nothing.

This was about midnight to 2 AM. No police at all for most of it, but coming down Sepulveda once I hit the Western Bagel, it was on. Three cop cars at the bagel shop, two more cruising around Sherman Way, and two more further south. The only girls I saw were two brunettes at the Arco station at Saticoy. I did see a cute blonde north of Sherman Way around 2:00, very dressed down and possibly walking home from the strip club. I angled for a pick-up when she walked down a side street, but she didn't even look at me so I moved on.

I stopped to give a homeless woman some empty bottles. She was by the McDonald's where the car wash is at Lassen. She looked like she might clean up okay and was friendly, but I shook it off. I'm not quite that desperate yet, but it's getting pretty bad out there.

This keeps anyone from reviewing any camera footage they might have, and it leaves the door open for me to use that spot again.

The hooker thing is about money. This is why they do john stings on Lankershim twice a year. Johns have money and cars and hookers have nothing, so they target the johns. No politician is going to ever legalize it because it's an easy sell to stupid voters who think you are protecting them from the dangerous sex fiends. Meanwhile the homeless are roaming the streets in record numbers dumping trash everywhere and gangbangers are still shooting people.

Another thing to consider is the property value overall in the valley. 20 years ago, you could get a home for about $140 K. Have a bit of a nuisance SW walker problem? Please don't kid yourself into thinking the LAPD is protecting the interests of the citizens who complain. They are under orders from higher ups to perform tasks that are in the best interests of our government. I know you don't want hookers in your neighborhoods bringing down property values, but what about the growing influx of homeless and illegals who dump garbage everywhere? No one puts forth any effort to stop this. I have homeless people going through my trash cans and leaving litter everywhere. There's broken glass at the end of my driveway and no police do anything about it. I have called to report drunk drivers and even a neighbor fight where a brick was involved and the cops wouldn't come. How nice does your neighborhood look with drunks sleeping on the sidewalk or day workers urinating on your bushes? How about the illegal late night taco wagons that leave a pile of garbage behind?

Even normal citizens toss their trash around, flick cigarette butts out the window that start fires and drop their drink cups on the ground to be someone else's problem. Hookers are the least of our society's problems. In fact, with the economy as bad as it is, I am disappointed that there aren't more women willing to take to the streets to earn what I consider to be an honest living. Yes, there should be a safer, more private way to conduct this activity, but no one else in this city is hiding or even slightly embarrassed to be a very visible blemish.

Hassling poor people doesn't get votes, but chasing hookers off the streets looks good for the voters and keeps your social project flush with tax dollars, thereby giving politicians some job security. Arresting homeless people costs money. Arresting johns makes money. Who is the greater impairment to our society? I'll take a hooker over a filthy homeless guy with a shopping cart caravan of garbage any day. At least the hookers go home once in a while.

But, short of blatant traffic violations, what other "ongoing crime" does one see everyday that is reportable? Stakeholder will report SW's because they see it too often, simple as that. And LAPD responds to those complaints. It's a pretty simple system. Most homeowners will deal with the the shopping cart pushing guys, the trash can junkies, but as far as the homeless camped out in the alleys and under freeway overpasses go- LAPD has to rouse them all the time. Ivonnahumpalot. Keep a broader viewpoint of "it will always be illegal. " It's not a federal crime. The US government and it's law enforcement (FBI) will never go after people for prostitution. It's not illegal on a national level. That's why it is legal in some areas such as certain counties in Nevada. It *IS* illegal at our CA state level. Of course our state will probably keep it illegal for a long time as the state and the country is still very puritan religious right based. But the big melting pot shines through very much here in L. A. You never know.

And one that I couldn't get a good look at being talked to by LE on the side of the road. Probably having to sign that "I won't be found in this area again" form. A few girls and every one of them being hassled by at least two cops. This was around 1:30 AM. I cruised the valley and tried Sepulveda again around 2:30 and it was dead, but still some cops out.

12:00 am ape was dead not one cruised from nordhoff to Oxnard nothing dead I'm a morning person so I drive by there early and always see at least one yesterday at 6:00 am seen a whit SW with red hair and a blck SW with a tooth missing nice body on her didn't like what I seen so I left lots of LEO tho they are out.

Friday night was mostly dead. There were a couple of LARGE BSW just south of Sherman. Thankfully, Angel was on Valero for a short period of time between 1 am and 3 am. She was wearing blue cutoff shorts, black boots, and a black top that showed off those amazing tatas. She has quickly risen to the top of my list. She looks amazing, offers amazing service and is capable of fun conversation. She was also out for short-time on Saturday night.

Saturday night was pretty lively for SB lately. There were probabaly 6 to 12 SW, mostly BSW out, at different points during the night. The area north of Sherman was still mostly dead (w / the exception of Angel). Quite a few of the regulars were around for brief periods including the slender LSW (who still won't talk to me) and some BSWs that I'm sure most of you will recognize. I saw Ethi on the East side of the street for a while. She was wearing a black and white mini-dress with a light blue denim jacket. She has long blonde hair now. While she is one of the most attractive BSW on SB, I've become increasingly frustrated with her service. She will say that BBBJ is OK, then pull out a condom and say stuff like 'next time'. She is constantly trying to upsell. She only wants to park in certain areas. My advice would be to stay away from her.

Most of the action was concentrated around Archwood (the first street south of Vanowen) which had three BSW on the corner most of the night. Decided to make an unplan drive out on SFroad, due to the crazy hot weather, I almost decided to call it quits and drive back home. But just north of SFroad (sylmar) side. In short, it was a mediocre weekend for SB. Friday night was a snooze-fest with enough LE present to keep most of the gals away.

They know and you know they thought you were in the process of committing an act. You might have asked them if you are being detained, and if not they would have to let you go. I know it's difficult when you're in that situation but you can stand up for your constitutional rights.
