Went to Club VIP solo on Friday and with friends last night.

There's a couple of decent looking ones. Bought a couple of drinks for a li'l young thang. 21 y.o. from Orange Cty. Can't remember her name as I was pretty slammed. But you can find her by the line of guys waiting to buy her a drink.

Then there's "Yasmin". Decent looking, had prior experience in the Kapiolani area. Bought her one drink last night because she came over and was polite and friendly. She still hung around until I was ready to bail.

Couple of others that didn't hurt the eyes too bad. Far above the average Pearl City/Aiea merchandise.

You just have to think of it this way. When she works, she's available to all us mongers (what a dreaded thought and it is my everlasting goal to get in them panties) BUT she goes home to you. As the saying goes, "home is where the heart is". Keep it that simple and you'll be fine. Dont give her a reason not to go home to you. When I had a gf in the past, we would talk about the bar girls. The 2 main reasons she gave me regarding relationships were: She calls you her bf but seems not totally committed. She probably has freedom issues. In Hawaii she is away from family and is free from family commitments. This freedom is refreshing. A bf/gf relationship brings back fears of being controlled again. Other reason is security. If she quits the bar, wants to move in with you, what to be with you all the time, then she has security issues. You are hers, but you need to take care of all her needs. Very compulsive girl. Mentally unstable if you ever break up with her. My ex was 1st example. We never got real close, sex was good, but not wild animal passionate. She wouldn't let her emotions cloud her sense of freedom. Hope this helps. It's not god's rule, but it comes from a former hostesses mouth. She moved back to Korea to take care of her father (back in jail again).

Let's face it. Were all show-offs. It's not enough to merely hook-up with a bar girl, we want the world to know it too. And with bar girls, EVERY girl has a price.

To break it down:

#1) Yes. No fear of rejection. You got the money, you got the honey.

#2) Never saw a bar girl wearing a muumuu or wearing turtlenecks.

#3) Bar girl is not the type of girl you wanna introduce to the parents or to friends.

#4) Nah, if this were true, then we'd all go to the AMPs or the telephone book listing under "escorts" would be as thick as Vegas'.

Don't know if got (had) hostesses, but a few friends used to go there to cruise in my younger days.

I used to drink there long time ago and it was a sports bar back then. Had some nice bartendresses but no play, maybe things changed.

I've been in there with "Very" non-seedy bar type friends and we karaoked. They'd been there before and if it had a hint of impropriety, we wouldn't have gone there. I don't think it's changed at all...

At that time, it was a regular, local style bar; their specialty was the whole deep fried chicken. It had a good mixture of men and women, mostly younger.

A few years later, friends and I walked in expecting the same, but it appeared to be a kbar with k hostesses all around. Clientele was totally different, just older guys. We bailed (women in the group).

Went there last summer and was again a local bar. Perhaps they were testing the waters for a strip club and found it not feasible. This time, I was one of the older bastards in the crowd :D

Club Jihae is an odd little place. Only old ladies the couple of times I went in. The bar had these fixed (to the floor) seats. Kinda like an old-timey ice cream parlor or diner counter. Seemed organized to provide places where one could get busy, but as I noted, only old ladies.

Sandy's Ohana, I don't know. Under previous ownership, my friends and I used to go there from time to time for the usual apres-work recreation. When you go in, immediately to your left is a karaoke room, then as you go in further, there are booths. On the left is pretty wide open and busy, on the right is darker and the design intent is clear.

Years ago, I sat with a girl over on that side and she checked me for weapons of ass destruction. Alas, all she found was me little buddy.

These days, I have to be careful in that area. My SO and I have dinner at Au's Garden sometimes. And the owner and most of the girls at Kool's Lounge know us (and our relationship). Don't need an errant comment putting my life in danger.

That said, the SO was busy and allowed me a few hours liberty so I dropped in on Kool's Lounge. Slow night. Didn't see the old faces, but about three girls were busy in the back. I might check out Sandy's Ohana tonight, as I have an evening errand in the area. I will post here if I find anything.

I heard she's 21. FWIW, she's from Garden Grove, CA. I was there her first night. I know the daytime bartender from elsewhere and she asked me to buy the new girl a drink. Waste time. Waste money. I bought her a drink. No personality. Maybe she was nervous, but no personality, no smile. Offered her another, but by then a line was forming and she went off to take care of a table and she never finished her water and never came back.

OK guys, just back from my maui trip. Only had one night free so was kinda rushed. Had my boss with me for a while so I had to play it cool until he left.
