On most other elections, people can say, "well, if my guy doesn't get in, it probably won't be too bad." This election, that is not the case. There are so many pertinent issues with each party having way different viewpoints than the other side. Throw in the fact that the next POTUS may appoint up to four SCOTUS judges that will sway the opinion of the court big fucking time. Those appointees will be making decisions for the next 30 years or so that can possibly re-shape America. It's no wonder that everyone is so heated towards their candidate.
Plus, you have a lame duck President that is throwing gasoline on the fire, further dividing our nation.
Also, both of the candidates are so bad. You get to choose between the lying, cheating crook and the pompous, megalomaniacal asshole. That's a difficult choice to make. Both choices are wrong and both choices are right. I guess in the end, the decision is going to be which one do you think will fuck America the least.
There is so much passion on both sides because of all of the anger on both sides. I guess this is why so many people are so polarized for each candidate. One thing's for sure, there's a shitload of emotion going for this election. More so than any election in the history of the country. I'm thinking that's why there's so much FB activity building up certain candidates and tearing down the other candidates.
I don't think that you should be mad at your FB friends. I know that I've done a helluva lot of FB campaigning for my POTUS pick. I shudder to think what America would be like if the other one gets into office, and if Congress gets the majority, we're fucked big time; like we've never been fucked before.
