Looks like they're dumping the inventory and getting ready to turn it over (duh) but their intentions not fully known. Look for KBG migration to Kalihi soon, imo (if not for the KBGs, then for the machines).

Paid for the drink and left my change on the counter then went back to get another plate. Sat down and noticed my $10 went missing, I think that skinny old Korean bartender took it. I was planning of getting her a drink after I finished my meal, but when I start hearing those greedy KBG trying to talk this get in getting $40 drinks for them, I left never to return.

Next went to Aqua to sing a couple songs, but that stupid DJ kept turning the music down so all you have are words on the screen and not music. She wouldn't listen so I dug out leaving two songs to play by itself, again never to return again. I like a place that treats you with respect and usually stay awhile spending up to $200, but not these places. So went to the AMP and got a release. THese KB will fail and good for them for being selfish and greedy.

Club Lotus Saturday night bartender, a grandma KBG was working. Also at New Business, grandma's Angie and Sunshine, and at Camelot Grandma Jeannie. No wonder business is slow around town. Seems like the Kapiolani is coming like the Kalihi KB'S with all these Grandma KBG'S. LOL.

No new blood, KGBs are like the drinkers. They all getting old too. The younger ones don't stick in bar business too long these days. They are moving on. I know 3 younger ones went back to the mainland. Remember young Kay at Arisu? She moved to Maui to open up some kind of business. Hana from Vegas got married. Chinese Wendy is at SF doing office work. On and on, we are losing the younger ones, only grandma remain.

I was puzzled when read that too. I think he meant Kalihi Station. I don't know what days, or if just for special occasions, but I have seen mama put up a buffet.

It went missing when I went for seconds. Also watch for those rip off KBG asking for $40 drinks, caught one at Green Tee who got a Henikin light, gave the bar back $20 and slipped the other $20 in her purse. I should go tell the mama about she ripping off both the customer and the bar? Its no wonder the bars can't make it, when regular customers get ripped off.

J14. Did you see how much change was given back to the kbg? If it was $10.

Then it was ok. Because on a $40 drink the house punches 10. If not both the girl and the bar back are in cahoots with each other.

But yes $40 drink is too much.

Heard the site is only offer short lease due to future redevelopement. It might be shut down for good unless someone willing to take a risk.

As far as GT. Bar back Andy bring in golfers. He is a golf instructor and has student. Yes that place is busy at twlight hours. Golfers pau 18 holes drink there.

Green Tee has a comfortable, welcoming, party atmosphere; noisy, but get plenty characters in the place. The customers, in my estimation, were a mixed bag of golfers, regulars, singers, groups (of whatevers), and LVBs. In other words, the place get appeal for all types (who are minding their own business), unlike anything in the Kapiolani area. I not saying this the definitive KB (pretty close) as I nevah have time to go any other Kalihi KB, but can tell there is an effort by da KBGs and staff for make the place busy, driven by making money (of course).

The only problem with the Green Tea complex is that the parking situation is very bad. Not sure if there are too many bars there or if the church people are taking up all of the parking. In any case, the best time to go to Lilac and some of the other bars if you like the Karaoke is on Sundays (at least for now before football starts up again).

NB and Splash were slow last night. New cute girls bartending at NB. Any 411 on the 2 good looking bartenders at splash?

The best way to start a conversation at a KB or VB, is to bring up the subject of who makes more money:

1. Bar Hostess (Maybe $300 a night + tip for private room).

2. Stripper (Maybe $500 a night + tip for private dance).

3. AMP provider (Maybe $1000 a day + tip for HE).

You'll get some interesting answers and opinions + you can steer the conversation in the general mongering direction.

Twilight moving into Ashley's KB location after September (for now; although anything can happen). For you LVBs out there: no lend your DKBGs big money because you will probably end up having to litigate for its return (if you have it secured by a note, IOU, some kind of legal instrument) and recover shit in the end. Of course, if you no care, no more promissory note, then no problem. You out.

Went to Cleopatra the other night, and earlier they said was busy. Myra the daytime bartender from Cleopatra and the old cheers station took over the lease for one year.

They have 3 dartboards for the people who like play darts. Get about 3 new Filipino girls. For you loverboys!! Pretty cool atmosphere if you like cruise and relax. Get two bar backs who are cool guys. I think one of them is dale who is nighttime and Craig who is daytime. Both guys been there and done that as far as kb scene. But tried to get innfo about some kbg, but they just laugh, because they said they can get in trouble if the kbg finds out what they said about them. Anyhow, its pretty good fun for chill.

Any news of honey Fox? Stayed away from kBs over a month. Need to save some money for Vegas. Last time I saw her at Starlite. Where is she end up now?

Friday Star Advertiser indicated it will be on the Pac12 network and Spectrum PPV package does not include this game.

So customers left to go to other bars to watch the game.
