However, in the USA When a man uses the word "****" about a woman in public, a vast majority of the time it carries a very negative, demeaning connotation. In one fascinating section, the author and his research partner, examined cultural attitudes towards sex and dating across several major USA Cities including Los Angeles and New York. They then compared those to attitudes and public sentiment in Tokyo Japan (major population crisis since people are not reproducing at a fast enough rate to replace the population), Paris. France, and Buenos Aires. Argentina. What they found, particularly in the case of the USA Versus Argentina, we are still decades behind Argentina in terms of sexual freedom. Men and women can be much MUCH more forward about their sexual desires and multiple partners in Buenos Aires without social repercussions that effect their ability to date, keep a reputable job, etc.

So in that, the context is important. If the monger in question had written a sentence that read "I fucking love those Empire Sluts!! They are so wet and wild, I can't get enough. " That is totally different than using the word **** to make himself sound like a superior and discerning purveyor of sex by effectively saying "Empire is distasteful because of 'sluts'. " Here it's clearly used as a negative reason.
