When I contacted customer service, they suggested that I send them the prepaid card number so that they can process it locally rather than online.

Every vanilla card I've used included a call to customer service. While a hassle. My issues were owner error. Twice I bought the wrong vanilla card. They usually resolved my issues in the time it took to make the call.

I called Vanilla and they told me I couldn't use it for international purchases. However I used a fucking Vanilla card for the first month I signed up on SA. Tried using Pay pal with no luck. Ridiculous bullshit.
I had to use the PayPal option on Sa to get mine to work. It says that you don't have to have an account but I had to make a fake account using a fake name and address so now I have a real account and a fake one. I just added the vanilla card to the fake account and got it to work.

Don't buy the vanilla card anymore.
