Well, I'm more familiar with a number of people and dancers at Henry's, so that makes it more comfortable. It's difficult for me to compare the two, because I haven't been at the Criket in so long, I don't know how their usual lineup is or how many they usually have working. There might have been a lot of dancers there, due to the Lions game. Maybe they were expecting a lot of guys to come in?
You'll certainly see a lot of black and latin girls at the Criket. The only thing that I can say that's significantly different are the back rooms. Henry's rooms are phone booth sized, with beat up and well used padded seats, whereas a Criket was a larger space that had a padded, couch style seat. I'd guess about twice the size of an ottoman and slightly deeper toward the back, is about the best way I can describe it. It was certainly far easier to maneuver on.
Thanks. Next time I'm in that area (don't know when that'll be, but still), I might hit SC instead of H8. From what I remember, the VIP tax is 10 bucks a visit, which isn't bad. Has that changed?
I1234,
I agree with you. Reviews help mongers.
Particularly bad reviews. Girls will hustle and I don't begrudge their hustle. I am usually thorough in my negotiation and conversation at the table. I rarely go back with those girls who plop down and say want to dance. It is kind of like saying want a bad dance.
However if I talk with her and build chemistry and am attracted to her. I am clear and specific and don't leave any room for misunderstandings. If a girl then tries to cheat me, I presume she tries to cheat everyone. There are few recourses a monger has when a girl is determined to cheat. The best he can do is stop the session and don't waste any more money, and correspondingly adjust the payment to whatever time you were in the VIP, because you have not paid her yet.
However girls can survive for months cheating guy after guy. While the regulars quickly avoid her the clubs have enough infrequent visitors, especially if she is hot to cheat guy after guy. Reviews are one of the few methods for correcting her behavior (which is rare) or having her decide stripping is not for her. I am cautious when another guy posts he was cheated. I will usually avoid those girls or she has to be super hot for me to take the chance.
As for girls who do a good job, I prefer to post that I had a session with so and so, and I enjoyed it, I intend to repeat, and suggest most other guys would enjoy her company also.MM.
MM,
Thank you for the well thought out and detailed response.
In regard to the specific amounts, maybe I've been a bit too forthcoming about the negotiations between dancers and mongers. While pricing may vary from customer to customer, due to regularity, comfort and other factors, there's typically a standard or average rate at Henry's. The reality of the situation is that we're paying for 15-20 minute quickies / ss, in a back room, so the pricing shouldn't be absurdly expensive. IMO, when it gets to the $200 + range, that's rates for OTC.
Still, reviews help us all. In my opinion, you'd think that driving money to dancers that require with far less effort on their part, would be very welcomed by them.
My reviews are getting to the point to where it's mostly just rehash anyway. I have 4-5 dancers that I go back with on a semi-regular basis, and usually 3-4 new experiences a year. There's a lot to be said for comfort and familiarity.
I'm sorry, I was not trying to be snarky. I'm saying I agree with you that reviews do more good overall than harm.
And, to take your questions seriously, no, the clubs won't be offering benefits, as their dancers are all independent contractors. But if we are assuming the club operators read the reviews, isn't it reasonable to assume they would not continue to hire the dancers that are bad for business? And encourage the better dancers to continue working there?
To clarify "change my reporting style " I would resume posting reviews with less personally identifying detail, and offer details in PM, that's all.
Apparently, I misread the tone of your response. Inflection can be sometimes be difficult to interpret through posts.
We need more contributions to the forum, so it would be nice to see you start posting again, even if the posts are somewhat general in nature. There's a number of people who prefer to keep the details in PM, which is understandable, if you have a dancer who isn't happy about the details of her session with her being revealed publicly. Still, if a dancer is doing bad business, I'd hope you'd expose her for that on the board, rather than only in PM's.
Regarding the idea that club operators should read reviews and stop hiring the dancers who are bad for business, I'm torn. Even if a dancer isn't good for customers, the club still makes money from stage fees and drink sales from guys who get pulled in by them, simply because they don't know better. That's a big reason why our reviews matter. When enough guys have the knowledge to avoid the bad ones, the good dancers have more opportunities to make money, and it forces the bad dancers to either improve their approach or go elsewhere.
One dancer immediately comes to mind as I'm typing this. For years, there was a dancer at Henry's South named Natalie. After South closed, she moved to North, and she might still show up there from time to time. Natalie is a white dancer with long brunette hair, just past her shoulders, and she was in nursing school forever — like 10 years or more. They must've had VERY long semesters at her school. I'm not sure if she ever got her diploma. Anyway, her body type is somewhat similar to Dallas on North's day shift, although not as fit.
Natalie was notorious for talking a great game out front, but once she got to the back, everything changed. I'm not sure how many guys she pulled in simply because they didn't know any better, but she kept that routine going for a very long time. Plenty of guys were fooled by her.
As for the dancers here being considered independent contractors, the rules must be different in this area. Every so often, I visit Kentucky, and when I get the chance, I'll go to the Spearmint Rhino in Lexington. A few years ago, during a conversation with one of the dancers there, I learned that they don't have set start or end times. They come and go as they please and don't pay stage fees. Additionally, as independent contractors, they're able to write off job-related expenses — even things like cosmetic surgery. I suppose the dancers in Michigan could write those things off too, and while I don't know if anything has changed at the SR since then, that's the story I was told.

H8 Dream
Finally met Dream at H8 tonight. Definitely worth my hr drive to see her. She's sexy on her Instagram and OF posts, but she is extremely sexy in person! Totally my type! Which is why I didn't last all that long in VIP. She said she would message me when she's working at SC, says she would like me to see her there since the VIP area is more accommodating. Definitely will be repeating as much as I can afford!
- Slayer out.
