I'm familiar with several AMPs around town and other places. It's true they have security cameras monitoring the main door for their safety and so mamasan can see what's going on inside. But I don't know any AMP that has cameras in the massage rooms. They don't want to be on camera any more than you do.

Had what appears to be a standard experience at Peony. Went in, paid for hr. Average age and looking lady (believe Linda, but couldn't understand her) took me back. I have installed cameras in the common areas of a few AMPs and sound systems in the rooms but have never seen evidence of cameras in the rooms except for Foot Finesse on 86th which is a legit place where you're supposed to mostly leave clothes on. I've seen what's available for hidden cameras but have yet to find any in use at any spas. The ones I've done installations for have been very concerned about not having any coverage (intentionally or inadvertently) inside the rooms. They cringe at the thought of being on camera inside the room and also remind me that it's illegal too. It seems very odd to me that any of these women would be voluntarily working in a place with cameras in the massage rooms considering the reactions I've seen to this idea.
