A lot of the other sites basically reposted Backpage ads. Now that that's done I'm guessing a lot off sites are gone.

Links go dead and when sites fail there is nothing left to retrieve. Had screenshots been posted instead of links to backpage everyone wouldn't be all doom and gloom.

There is no acute danger yet that the US will take over the entire planet, but now you know what would happen, in case you've been secretly fantasizing about it.

Think about something like the laws regarding strip clubs. Some cities have it where girls can't go bottomless because a law or ordinance gets passed. You're never going to see some politician out there that runs and says "when I get elected, strippers can go bottomless again!

Same with this. No politician is ever going to plant their flag and try and reverse this "anti-sex trafficking law" or whatever they're calling it. It's not worth dying on that hill for any politician.
