I recently went out bar hopping to Korean bars by starting in Kalihi and ending in PC. I saw a lot of girls I know from years ago and that part was fun. I have to say over all KB are not the same. The whole vibe is different and not as fun. Girls on their phones and the ones who do come by are just pushing drinks. Buy me, buy my sister, and buy mama. It was never like that before. AMP is a better dollar spent unless you want the thrill of the chase and blue balls.

People not enjoy going to bars anymore. They feel not welcome. There is no one to greet you when you step in to the door, all the girls just sit at a corner playing with their phone. Girls all with poker face, they don't come to you, that just not right you have to go to them. There is no music, no pupus. Football pau, nothing on TV. I have seen a lot of guys just have one drink and get out of there.

Donna and Kelly tried to hold the place together after, they leased the small bar to locals but they did not lasted long, they folded after a few months. 904 bartender took over the place the bar, she did not lasted long either. Donna and Kelly took it over and they leased the small bar to Sandra. It seem like she did not do that well so she quits. Lots of musical chairs in the place, but it seem like no matter who is running the place, they can't get everyone in there.
Maybe they should hire better bartenders, replace Hana and put her on the floor, cause all she does is want it to drink.

Why does this one and Ashley's struggle no matter what? Too big and too much rent. Evergreen survived because they were open till 4 basically. K style is another one that's too big and struggles also. The medium to smaller ones do better. Why do you think that humongous bar below Pine Tree is still vacant? It's way too fucking big to make any money. More girls equals more salary also and when it's slow the mamas have to buy their girls some drinks to keep them around. Too many girls is actually bad for the business but guys like it.

I mean the bar business these days as a whole is slow. But at the same time the saying goes "to make money you got to spend money. " At the same time too it also has to be spent wisely. As far as girls getting paid salaries, I have never heard that as a regular thing. I know some mamas will offer some girls medical and some might give incentives to persuade them to work. I don't know if that's what you mean. But not every mama does that. Although I could see a lot of these newer mamas doing that, hence on why they not lasting long. I mean these girls are already making 20-whatever the cost of the drink is and then you got the other up drinks.
I would say 80 pct of these girls do not get salary, number might even be higher. When Summit TC mama stop paying girls in salary, you could see long time girls there start to leave.

I see a lot of these girls switch profession, a lot of them have day job now. Some work as beautician, some work in Waikiki shops.

Checked out some of the town bars this past weekend. As mentioned before, Mimi and her girls are at Ashley. Its been a while since I seen that place with that kind of action. Some of the crew from Splash went to Camelot. Splash might have had a few new faces for that place, not entirely sure though.
