When you get past the kB girls B. S, you find that most of them are poor with just few dollars saved up. I guess easy come, easy go.

There only one legendary Fox out there. BGs these days only interested in their phone or your wallet. Reason why people still go to KBs is they think they can find romance, but chances are they will strike out more often than not. BGs love to throw curve and off speed ball.

The lot is on the development list, no one know what the lot owner would do. Heard many rumors but no one know for sure.

Xclusive halting the early, M-F, shift; early places include (for now) Di's, Hot Spot. Lotus bartending crew Jennifer and Mae: Mae is nihongo speaking, 55-60 yo, L=6, massage skills, good temperament, medium build, with huge tits. Jennifer is just pushy and huge. Hope that the new opening at the old Chill venue will provide the needed Kapiolani KB spark; as long as they don't bring back the KB Kiss-of-Death (TC), it should work out OK. Wherever that KoD goes, it is a disaster (sorry, fans of TC), so good riddance.

KBGs have never seen business this slow since the recession of '84-86; they have remarked that they only sit down for long periods and play games on their devices to pass the time. Anybody heard about the proposed price increases for beer, wine, and liquor? Now that's the real KoD.

So I went to lotus Monday afternoon. Mae was nice, and friendly. She said she only just started working bar. I asked what kind work she did before. She said housewife. Yup she has nice body / chichis, but not sure about how playful she'll get since she is across the bar. I didn't offer a drink, and to her credit she didn't ask. I don't like to buy / offer a drink unless I'm going to get something out of it, whether it's food or potential play. Mae offered food (house pupus), but I wasn't looking for food if you know what I mean, hehe! Jennifer (and yup she is pushy and huge) stepped in and started talking to Mae in korean. I got the feeling that jenn sized me up as a freeloading / no tip guy (for the record, I'm not). So it seemed the offer of house pupus was off, and Jenn told Mae. To give me the pay food menu. I declined.

After I was there for a while, jenn softened, and practically forced house pupus on me (which was very good BTW). But I kinda didn't want because I was really thinking of going to check someplace else out.

Any way jenn brought the food, so now I feel obligated, so I was deciding if I was going to buy a drink, and who to buy it for (since mae was serving me the whole time, and jenn pulled the menu thing), or just leave a good tip for the food. I should have opted for the big tip.

I offered jenn the drink since she was the one that gave me the food. So of course, jenn pushes the old "how about buy drink for my partner" bullshit. Fuuuuck! I hate that! So of course I caved and I did, regretting not opting for just leaving a big tip, because I just knew in my head this was going to happen. Anyway, as I said the food was good, but not $40 two drinks good, more like $20 one drink good.

I think I want to try Camelot or Ashley's next. What days got the better wahines at those places?

Nina & Ray (Xclusive) and Charlie (retirement) now at Hot Spot. Ray is the early bartender, M-F, 0800-1300 hrs. ; Charlie is the 1300 hrs. Bartender, W-F; Nina is the 'hostess with the mostest,' early shift. Whenever. With this trio, the joint has picked up business. Twilight must be hurting.

Chi-chis seem to be the theme here with the bartenders; don't know who they are but both wear short dresses and are treated like DKBG by their LVBs. KBG One is heavily made-up on the large side with fading looks. She has an old LVB who constantly tells her "You so pretty" and "They send me naked picture so I waiting for yours. " If you on the counter, forget the service if the old buggah buying her and her partner drinks; she blind to everything except the nekos. Bartender Two has a medium build with plain looks but better bar business skills: ready with the smile, and asks, "one moa. Chips? Tends to lose the 'service' focus easily when distracted with food, LVB.

Anyway, this is like par for the KB / KBG course. When the old Chill going open? Supposed to be March sometime.

Can someone give me some help on how to have a little more fun at Korean bars? I've been to a few of the Kalihi bars lately and have had an ok time, but was hoping to get some pointers on how to have a better time. I'm pretty good at avoiding the high tabs by refusing to buy drinks for her friend or 'sister' or birthday drinks for momma. I'm also happy to buy drinks for my girl as long as she sits with me, makes me feel handsome and offers a little play in the booth, but I stop buying drinks if she asks for refills too quickly or she gets up and leaves often. I guess I'm wondering if that is it? I buy maybe 4-5 lady drinks and get to feel her boobs and butt and she reciprocates, but that is about it. Is there more that happens in the booths? Don't waste your time. The girls these days are more interested in their smart phone than you, unless you have bus load of money to spend. They would quickly dry up your wallet and hop on to another table. You can try the retirement home Waterfall as one poster suggested. But only if you don't mind sit with grannies or great grannies.

I am cutting back going to KBs from twice a week to twice a month. KBs are not fun as it used to be. Lots of BSs from the girls. Good luck!

All services generally can be had from the Korean princesses at their place or in hotel, but the AMP girls are more up to pleasing their men than their bar girl sisters. My experience, it will probably take around 10 lady drinks before you get the bar girl attention for take out service. Another expensive option is to use one of the karaoke rooms but they can rip you off and you may end up with just an empty wallet.

Unless you have money to waste. Take out isn't affordable for an average Joe. Some of them just sit there sipping drink after drink. By the time of last call. They claim they are drunk and sneak out the back door into the waiting cab to go home.
