Nothing like going to Thailand (or anywhere else for that matter) and being stuck in quarantine for weeks. Personally, I'd avoid travel anywhere for the time being, unless it's absolutely necessary.

Imagine booking your flight somewhere for an event, only to find out event is canceled and plane ticket cannot be canceled without a huge fee. Imagine booking a cruise thinking you can go back to work the following week, only to be stuck in quarantine for 2 or 3 weeks longer than your vacation days allow.

The virus is also transmitted numerous other ways, including contact with another infected person, or from a surface that same person touched hours or days ago, airborne germs that can linger for hours, and even from someone who does not show symptoms but is carrying the virus. Coughing or sneezing is only a couple of ways you can catch the thing, unfortunately. Hopefully the social distancing measures will help to curb the spread of covid and more extreme steps are not needed to impede its spread.

This corona virus shit is for me, starting to really sink in. I usually work out at 24 after work. Got there at a little after one. Knew something was wrong, the parking lot was practically empty! So I park and grab my stuff and head inside. But another guy is by the entrance taking a picture of a notice on the door. I ask if they closed and he tells me yeah. "This shit is maja!" I check out the notice which says they closing at 6 pm. So now I wondering how long they going stay closed and when they going reopen.

Probably a good thing that people are bound to wash their hands more often. It isn't just this virus that can cause suffering.

Well, have to push my trip back a few weeks. Thailand locking everything down until the 31st, so going to wait until after. No point in going when all the bars and entertainment venues are closed. Thankfully change fees and all that are waived right now, but can't tell when will be a good time to go. Thailand is still responding to this far better than the United States, though.
