It a ppv model similar to clip4 sale where you essentially buy pic set / videos individually. The subscription price is just to get in the door, which show you minimal content that they would of posted on twitter / instagram anyways. If you want the good stuff you have to buy them individually in addition to the subscription price. But in my experience, those paid videos arent even good. Majority of them are teaser vids that don't even last a few minutes. Some also have a habit or recycling old content as new or using twitter / insta content. And pornstars are notorious for putting previous porn studio scenes behind a paywall on OF when you can watch it for free with a bit of googling.
On the escort standpoint, in my experience, OF allowed them to raise their prices. One of the providers completely stopped escorting a few years ago and only did OF to this day. She only does solo content with toys and can still make a living out of it. Another provider 54 yo, use to charge 300/ hr, had surgery and stopped escorting for about a year and relied solely on OF (OF takes 20% commission). Afterwards, her rates went up to 450 and she apparently had a full schedule when she toured here last month. The power of reddit / twit / instagram brings in a lot of subscribers. If you try filtering online services on tryst, a lot of the Facetiming cost as much, if not more than seeing them in person. Avg FT for 15 min is around $100-200. It's ridiculous!
