They're not going to go deeper with the rental company to try and find out the identity of the renter. This buyer letter campaign is a simple operation. Once the rental agency receives the letter they might identify who you are and refuse to rent to you in the future but even that might be a stretch. The reason the city is doing this is because they are taking advice from an organization which identified that johns are more likely to stop trolling for SWs once friends and family find out. While a rental agency isn't exactly your friend it is a level of exposure and potential embarrassment. I think they're just going to waste their time but we'll see.

It'll also be interesting to see what incoming mayor Wilson will do, she is more of a socialist democrat who does not like SOAP / SODA zones nor criminalizing sex work nor buyers (from what I recall, I could be wrong on the last part). We could possibly see another explosion along AA if they repeal everything again and possibly a relaxation of pursuing buyers. Speculation at this point, but I think we're about to go the other direction again. City Attorney Ann Davison, who was really big on prosecuting johns / buyers, was recently defeated by Ericka Evans who is also more progressive in her stance. She feels that SOAP / SODA zone do not address the underlying issues as to why people use drugs or go into sex work. Prostitution along Aurora was one of the major issues in this recent election cycle, so we'll see where it goes in the next few years. What's interesting is that nobody has yet addressed why men buy sex, only why women get into sex work. Seems like they're missing a huge component by not looking deeper into why some men do it. Only looking at one side is a guarantee for failure, but that's just my opinion.

This is probably a longshot here, but I've been noticing the same thin LSW or possibly light-skinned SW who hangs around north of 97th. I drove through last night about mid-evening, just enough SWs out there to make it interesting. Some real lookers, I passed a BSW in the 100 blocks standing alone in a long white coat, attractive, slender, a few other spinner BSWs farther south. I spotted the LSW around 97th about whom I had posted a few days ago. I was not in a position to be able to stop and try my luck, anyone know anything or get anything last night?
