Is there any change in Tijuana due to the current events taking place.
I am planning a trip down there in a few months. I am wondering is there any extra hassle or less safe going there.
Article on diseases in the Caravan
FWIW and to each his own. How much this does / does not spread into the Tijuana population, hey I don't know. I'm just posting for info purposes:

3 Teens, 2 Of Them From California, Killed Execution-Style In Tijuana
The 3 were found in El Centro in their underwear, tortured and shot in the heads. It may be sex, girls, drugs related.
Gomez called his mom on Saturday, said they were safe but lost all their phones. Very unsusual.
Anybody has any intelligence on this?

Authorities in the violence-gripped Mexican border city are investigating the brutal slayings.

According to local news outlet Punto Norte, the three teens were tortured before they were shot in the back of the head. No shell casings were found at the scene and not a single witness has come forward.
The LOS Angeles Times reports that Gomez and Suarez-Ojeda crossed the USA -Mexico border last Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, to attend a barbecue in Ensenada, a city in Baja California, Mexico. Don't be an Ugly American
Last week a bro go an offer from a hot girl, overnight for 2,200 pesos (about $120), which is an excellent deal in my experience. He was trying to negotiate it down to 2,000 pesos when she got pissed her off and stormed away. So try to be very nice and loving, not to make the chicas feel like cheap merchandise.
When I was going there regularly I always left more "foreign aid" than was expected.
