I'm not sure anyone is "satisfied" with the Chinese Condo but when you look at the NOVA alternatives it is probably better than most. The girls are accomodating, it is more reliable than trolling Craigslist, it is convenient and saves us NOVA residents a commute to the District, and it is significantly less expensive than other Asian entertainment. Amen Laxman#2! The unfortunate truth is that as the federal government cracks down on the industry around the country, it's going to remain risky to be in the business and risky to patronize it. Look at any big city such as Atlanta, Raleigh, D.C., New York, etc. and you will see that the history of the AMPs in these cities has been an up and down affair.

Atlanta is probably one of the best examples though. Atlanta used to have AMPs on every corner, all competing for your dollars and some staying open 24/7. One by one, the various counties that make up metro Atlanta began cracking down until now there are very few in general and far fewer "good" ones.

Honolulu is today what Atlanta was five years ago in terms of AMPs. The authorities in the City and County of Honolulu realize all too well how much their municipalities depend upon tourism, particularly from Asia and have yet to crack down seriously. So as long as the AMPs stay under the radar and are not overtly obvious to the casual eye, they stay open to practice the world's oldest profession. Those who have been there will attest that there is at least one high rise in HNL which seems to have an AMP on almost every floor.

The labor and capital in the AMP industry are both highly mobile. When things become too challenging in one city, they are quick to move to other ones. As they abandon a given city, the prices are bound to go up and the quality equally bound to go down. Market principles will dictate what they can and do charge. A particular customer and his spending at a particular AMP will have little effect on this.

I'm not a big fan of posting what you spend or get at a particular AMP. To me, learning this for yourself is part of the adventure and fun of the hobby. And I sure as hell am not interested in what turns some other hobbyist on (sorry Laxman #2, but I'm referring to your post of 12/8/08).

I'm from Cali and had the opportunity to walk the cold wet streets of DC tonight. Thanks for all the great info. I come here about once a year for business and usually managed to hit D'town, so I was bummed when I read it was gone.

I can buy an ounce of brick for five Jacksons, but that same ounce of the killer is gonna run 3 or 4 times that. If their situation was so vile as for them to leave broke almost every week , why did they have so much quality and variety back then ?. It still makes no sense . There's a saying , " When the ship sinks , the rats are the first to flee " .

You have to understand , these girls come here with a goal " To make money " and when their attemps to make money is shaken up or interrupted , like LE busts for example , they get scared and run away until the situation simmers down . It depends on what you mean by light. DC LE has just put more priority on eliminating SWs because of all the problems related to them, i.e. crack, crime, etc. Anyone who knows about how things have changed since the Marion Barry days, about the SW parade across the 14th st bridge, knows what I am talking about. Years ago, I knew the cop that dealt with SWs in his area and he other cops hated SWs. When and if the AMPs cross a certain line (like bothering neighbors), DC LE moves on it.

Hell, I don't really have a problem with the quality. I have had a few bad ones here and there but overall has been quite enjoyable. I used to have great quality here in NOVA but it definitly was LE that stopped that, not price.

If you look at wikipedia, you will see that the Washington, D.C. police department numbers approximately 3,800 sworn officers and hundreds of civilian personnel. This department is therefore one of the 10 largest in the country. Further, according to wikipedia, the Atlanta, GA police department numbers less than 2,000. The NYPD currently numbers in excess of 38,000 sworn officers and is the largest in North America.

I'm not sure if the figures for D.C. include the forces of other police-like agencies such as the U.S. Park Police, but I'm fairly certain they don't include agencies such as the FBI, DEA, or other federal agencies. Some of these federal agencies do interest themselves in eliminating AMPs. The D.C. police department undoubtedly receives some help and assistance from the federal government that the police forces of another city (like Atlanta) don't receive.

But I don't think it makes any sense to claim that D.C. is lightly policed. It is the capital of the nation.

What I meant was, LE places less importance on shutting down AMPs than in other areas such as New York or Atlanta. You can also compare DC with Montgomery County, MD and Prince Williams County, VA... No comparison on where the heat is lightest.

After all the debating and whatever, here's what you really came for.

Had a double session at Supra tonight. First up was Joon. Younger than other AMPs, but on par with the girls at Supra in terms of age. Face is not bad. She is tall and has a nice figure, though her fake tits are a little small for her body. They're not nice to touch either, feels like she has two magic 8-balls underneath there. Oh well. She was accomodating with all positions except cowgirl and she makes noises when you're doing her, if you're into that. Nice and talkative, but her personality is not girly, so wouldn't expect her to try and sweet talk you. Just nice conversation. I wouldn't mind repeating.

I travel quite a bit, I have seen all the AMP scenes and many Private Providers around the country and around the world.
Even in Korea, you can expect to pay 500 to 1000 or more for some of
the top providers. Yes, they are model material and they were awesome!

The L.A. scene has changed the most, since the sweep.
There are lot more independent providers now.

I'm sure there are profesionals on this board, that may make 500 an hour.

And I like having the variety! I'm all for it!
We should feel fortunate, that we have the variety and options...

I rang once and was invited in by Mama. She shows me to the room and says a lovely masseuse will be right in. Angie came right in and says it's. 6 for the house, which I was prepared for thanks to you guys. Another 1 for the gratuity.

She tells me to get ready for a shower and she'll be right back. Well the whole hose and bowl on the vinyl bed thing is a little weird, but relaxing.

Angie is cute enough. She looks Japanese, but says she's Korean. Probably near 40 and very petite. Doesn't go for much touching, but is willing to be handled and moved into position. Mac, each room should have a plastic "purse". It is to put your wallet in so you can take it with you to the TS, bathroom, sauna, etc. If there is not one in the room you are given, ask.

This is meant to be practical information for the AMP goer so I trust no one will object to it on the grounds that it is too "philosophical" or "theoretical."

In general I have to say that in my amping career I have never been robbed. There must be or have been one or two girls somewhere, some time who, due to an uncontrolled drug addiction or some similar situation, have robbed the occasional innocent (if I may use that term) customer of the odd $20.00 bill or two or three. But I've never had any trouble. Of course if I plan to spend, say $200.00, I am not going to bring $500.00 with me into the AMP. No sense tempting fate. And to leave the remaining $300.00 in the car is also senseless as the area outside an AMP is apt to be more dangerous than the area inside it.

Leaving your entire wallet outside is not a good idea either. As we have discussed on this board a number of time, in many cases the mamasan will search your walled while you are being distracted in the shower. She does this mainly to find out if you are carrying a badge, what area you are from, etc. In general I'd have to say the mamasan is very unlikely to have as her intention robbing you. She may negotiate with you, but that's a different thing entirely. Once a price has been agreed upon neither the mamasan nor the provider is likely to attempt to try to extort more than that out of you. That is dishonorable to Koreans and they believe they lose face in doing so.

So the best advice is to bring close to what you knowledgeably expect to spend for your massage including extras. It's ok to take an additional forty or so for tipping purposes if extraordinary service is given. But in general we are talking about house fee plus $100.00 to $150.00 in provider fees or tips. If you do take an additional $20.00 or $40.00 and lose that, you must report it to the mamasan immediately and in all likelihood you will be re-imbursed If not, the offending worker will most likely be let go back into that cold world which consists of working girls riding endlessly around the U.S. in the back of Korean Taxi, a kind of Korean Underworld Purgatory if you like.
