Saw 3 SW around 7:30 pm. One was about 7 months pregnant, but still looking around hoping to snag a client. The trouble is, they all look intriguing in the dark, but shine some light in their face -- and your foot compulsively steps on the gas pedal.
Saw a homey looking WSW around 10 pm and thought, oh what the h***, at least she is petite and young. She was. Anorexic and 25 years old. Annabelle. She asked for 3$ to get a can of paint in Home Depot. She already reaked of paint and claimed that she f**ed better when exposed to the fumes. Dropped her off without as much as touching her. Very disappointed. No clean affordable action seems to be attainable anywhere in Phoenix any more.

Is it just me or has LE become much more agressive? I was at the corner of 27th ave and Northern when I pulled over quickly to finish a call I was on. I needed to write something down so I just pulled into this small shopping center to write down the info when suddenly there is a knock on my window. I look up and there is LE motioning me to roll down my window. He tells me that I need to clear the area imedietly and that he has been watching me for the last 20 min circling the area and if I don't leave he will take me in for soliciting a known prostitute. Now normally I would have just left and thanked my lucky stars that I am not be hauled off to jail. Except for the fact I had literally just got off the freeway and wasn't even looking for anything or any one. I was way to wrapped up in my business call to have been "looking". What has got into LE? Are they now profiling monglers? Or has it always been like this?

If you truely weren't circling the area then the cop doesnt have a leg to stand on. That being said, sometimes they just feel like being dicks and can decide to waste the rest of your day (or longer) by hassling you and dragging you in.

I also cruised 27th from camelback to McDowel to 35th then Van Buren all the way to 44th st and only a couple nasty ones by 27th and Van Buren. This was around 7-8pm
Was at 19th ave and bell last night and saw a very very hot wsw. At first thought she was just someone crossing the street but after I circled around she defiantly gave me “the look ” started to turn around again to pick her up but someone else beat me to her. Cruised the area for about an hour looking for her but never did see her again. Oh well. Would love to hear any comments from the guy who picked her up. She was a definite 10! Looked nice and tight. Anyone else who saw her or picked her up let's us know how it went!
I was out last night, Saturday. I checked out the typical spots, but the only place I saw any action was on 27th AVE and Indian School. I saw about 4 to 5 SW out there but, there was not a single one that I would want to go for. All were butt ugly. Anyway, I moved on to check out other places and then I came back about 45 minutes later to see if things had improved. This time around there were more pimps or at least want-to-be pimps hanging in the same area as the SWs so I got out of there.
Cruised down Main yesterday afternoon. Saw a WSW at Main and River. Saw her get picked up and again after I had made the loop. Was a 4 so wouldn't have picked her up anyways. Saw another west of Dobson, this one was a 7. Hanging with her pimp. Went home empty handed...
I saw a SW trying to get picked up around Main and Higley.
That area appears to be like a little mini track. But it is very hit or miss.
Decided to take the scenic route home tonight. Did all of 27th going north. Saw a BSW on the corner of Glendale and just had to scope it out. She was smokin', and was blowing some bubble gum through her big full lips. Picked her up and asked if she needed a ride. She obliged. Did the LE check. Everything was peachy.
Took the 17 access road north and headed west through a neighborhood. Couldn't find a spot by the time I got to 19th so I decided I should keep heading west on the other side of 19th. At the light, LE decided to take a left as he was going south on 19th ave. As they made the turn they both stared right into my vehicle. Shit. They slowed down and proceded to make a you-turn. I flipped my left turn signal on and they pulled up right behind me. FUCK. The light went green and I made a left, as did they.
Okay, at this point nothing illegal had occured but I was still shitting bricks. I told her "look, you were hitchhiking, I picked you up, you needed a ride to this gas station on Northern". She seemed to understand. I got into the right lane and LE stayed put untill I was about to pull into the gas station, they got behind me again and threw on the lights.
I parked and rolled down the window and the whole thing. One gets on my side while the other gets on the passenger side. Licence and registration and the whole deal, the one asks me if I knew why he pulled me over. I answered "no". He said my license plate lights were out. I had no idea they were. The one asks me to step out of the car while the other starts sweating the girl.
After a minute the other cop comes up and asks me how I knew my passenger. I simply stated that I saw her hitchhiking, and being the good samaritan I am, offered her a ride. "She said she needed a ride to right here and it was on my way home so I didn't think it was a big deal". LE #2 said "Okay somthing isn't right. She said you were giving her a ride home thats 5 miles south of here". FUCK! He gave me the whole "just be honest, why did you pick her up? " rap. I kept deneying. He said he didn't believe me and went into the patrol car. I'm freaking out still. I guess miss thang wasn't as bright as I had hoped. He came back out and talked to her. She started walking off. He came back up to me and told me hitchhiking is illegal, get my lights fixed, blah blah. He let me go. But being the instigator I am, I started my vehicle and turned my lights on. I walk to the back of my vehicle to see if my lights were indeed out. THEY WERE NOT! I looked straight at the patrol car and made eye contact with both and made a grimace. Bastards.
I know he knew I was full of shit. I really ALMOST fell for the whole honesty thing. They can really lead you to believe nothing will happen. But I stuck to my guns because. I really didn't do anything illegal. We didn't even discuss price.
Should I even be posting stories like this? It's kind of incriminating.

That's a great report. I read it thoroughly and it reminded me clearly why I quit the streets. I feel for you man because I've been there and felt the same excruciating anxiety.
Your report established a couple of things.
Normally you can't be pulled over without probable cause. Probable cause could include anything from traffic violations to equipment malfunctions. You got pulled over for an equipment violation and in that case, you just instructed us to get out of our vehicles and have the officer show us the failure.
What appears to have really happened is that you got 'profiled' I assume you are a white guy with a black girl in the passenger seat.
The cops violated the law. They do not have the right to pull you over because you are driving with another person of a different race.
In this case, they were successful in their actions because, in fact you were with a BSW and they probably even know her. They see so many of these situations that their reactions become second nature,
Bottom line, they still have you by the short hairs, because to pursue a complaint against them, may involve public disclosure of the details and involvement of your family, employer etc. Not good.
No wonder cops often get referenced as 'pigs'
Relax, have a couple of beers and be thankful that you got home safe.
