Hey everyone... Just looking for parking options for Concert and events in downtown miami. I am used to parking lots at Bank Atlantic or Dolphin Stadium.

Because I monger so much in the south my main question is about those ghetto guys with flags.

I see they find a dirt lot and start charging. Some of these guys I have seen at the C-store dealing drugs as well.

My concern is that when the event is over I come back, there is a different guy there demanding more money for watching the car the whole time. Does anyone have any experience with these types of $10.00 lots?

I notice during the day-like for a circus or disney on ice, etc. there are so many cops around it is crazy. But at night for adult events there are alot of strange characters walking around OT and 11th.

I am not in fear for my CAR, I prefer not to lose my money and wallet, etc. I have that easy target look and don't need the extra drama right now.

Just looking for better parking options on a Saturday night event instead of Bayside which is sometimes full and if not charges almost $30.00 for event nights.

Stick with the Lots closer to Bayside with the flaggers. Avoid the ones where you have to walk far like near the on ramp to 95 where all the bums and SW's hang out. Parking closer to Bayside in a lot will run you 20 on event nights but it's safer and more secure of an area once you are walking back to your car at midnight...
