Been over here for about 5 weeks now on business. I've been trying out a few CL providers with various results. My worst experience was a provider at the Best Western, followed by the all-too common knock at the door from the pimp / boyfriend. My best was a total GFE, with a few inbetween.

I wanted to try out Lynn in Garner, but she answered the phone rather rudely and stated she would not take new clients. Must be due to the bust we read about?

So about a week ago, I thought I would try out some of the tracks as you all call them. Got my GPS out and mapped in all the known areas from the reports found here. Long story short.......I was in fear for my life. It is a damn war zone down many of those thin streets. Are you all insane? Why don't the girls get out of those housing blocks and walk newbern, or another more open street area? I turned down one street and had some whacked out brother charging my car while another stood in the street with his hand in his pants, clinching a gun I'm sure.

Despite this, I lapped around the routes several times and did see some apparent strung out, hardened crack hoes. I never stopped. One was wearing a dress and her body seemed OK, but her face was a bit rough. I passed. Most of the girls were found in the E. Jones and Idlewild (i know now the street, sorry) I cruised during the daylight and could not imagine driving down those streets at night.

I have a question I hope does not offend anyone, but are most you fellow mongers brothers? Cause a white guy does not fair well down in those streets. I got hard looks, threats and felt like I stuck out like a red sore thumb. I won't be going back.

Another question........Anywhere else to cruise? How about Capital? This can't possible be the only area, is it? This is a big city, with lots of sprawl. Every city has street walkers and usually lots of them. I've never been in such a closed in neighborhood to monger like that and I've been playing this game for 20 years! I did not care for it at all.

Anyone who can share a nice, or semi-decent area to cruise? I'll trade the few nice CL contacts I've made since being here. There are some good ones, most are ripp-offs, so let us share.

Not to get on rant. But I guess with Kim you live the street life you have that sort of end. Bless her. All you mongering brothers out there, be careful and show respect to people whose areas we frequent. Anyways but for real they need to get out of the road! The only time I have come close to coming to blows was down around bragg street on one of the sides streets, and it was almost on. Some guy just did not want to get F*cK out of the way, and only backed out of my way when I started to get out of the car. But I guess we all have to be careful. With things being tight for even those of us who can afford to partake in the hobby. We for sure need to remember that times are even tougher in the hood. Anyways yall I am gonna be taking a mongering road trip here in a couple of weeks so I should have some good info to report. My opinion of a couple of the questions on here.

GettingTang made an observation about the city the size of Raleigh having such a limited supply of quality SW... well actually a limited supply of SW period. This is frustrating for a city that has just passed Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Tampa, and Minneapolis in terms of population, city proper. Its the standard of living in Raleigh. We have seen all the lists, Best Place to Live, Best Place to Start a Business, One of the 10 Fastest Growing Cities in the US, Highest Number of College Graduates, and the most telling of them all, Best Place to Raise a Family. I have been to cities half the size of Raleigh with triple the amount of supply and half the demand. But they are poor cities, with low paying jobs and a lack of them. Times are hard in those areas and there is not just the addicts on the street, but the girl next door just trying to make ends meet. There are more girls and better quality. In Raleigh, there is some crappy waiter or hotel room cleaner job that they can fall back on.

Just take a look at the prices of the girls on CL. They adjust their price point depending on the city they are in. I have seen some of the same girls charge $2.50 in Raleigh, go to Richmond and charge $2.00, and then end up in Phoenix charging $1.75 for the same hour worth of service. There is more disposable income and less girls that are so desperate that they have to hit the street.

Another factor limiting the quality of SW in Raleigh is that the worn out street hags out there will run off any girl that starts working that looks better than they do. How many times have you seen a 7 or 8 on the SW scale with a black eye, or a tale about how the BSW jumped a WSW and told her to stay out the neighborhood. The only way they make it is to get a pimp or dealer looking out for them and we know where that heads. Two months later they look like they have been run over by the Amtrak!

As far as the fellas in the streets, it burns me up beyond no compare! Then I realized how easy they are to suspect that you are UC, until they see you a couple of times and figure what you are out there for. But most aren't smart enough to remember that far back. I began to take a line from Dr. Dre "Witness us as we creep to a slow speed..." This is not south central so when you drive through at an unusually slow speed, they know you aren't a gang banger, so that only leaves one other possibility, they think you are under cover. Try it for yourself next time and see how fast they decide to move. Of course it can backfire and the SW will take a wide berth around your car.

Just for the record though, if I ever do hit one of those fools, I am leaving the scene. Damn them! And if I get caught, I will swear he was drugged up and just jumped out in the middle of the road. I will take the chance of my attorney against one of Wake County's incompetent prosecutors any day. Can't even convict a drunken driver who shows up to court drunk!

Finally, which Kim was this? I hope it wasn't the one I met a few weeks ago. Hopefully it was Kimpossible, or Kim with the short dark hair. Sorry any of them might have been killed, but I'm not going to feign any emotional attachment to any of these girls. But I would hate it to be Kim with the long blond hair and tight little body. That's why I hate Raleigh's selection of SW. Can't keep anything good out!

I found Larrisa near lane st. A 7 on the looks. She was a bit much in a hurry, and not much for breasts. Had a flute lesson for the going rate. My search still contunus for a sw with tits.

Getting Tang - To the best of my knowledge, the only "hot" areas in terms of SWs are the two zones routinely discussed on here. Looking back through the boards, you will find reports of a random girl up on New Bern or Capital - but that's sorta like hitting the Royal Flush in video poker - ya just gotta be lucky and stumble upon that by accident. You can't really cruise for it the way you do in the zones.

Having said that - with a little bit of common sense - the 'hood is safer than it seems. I am a middle class white guy, fairly nice car - and often cruise with a dress shirt and tie on for my work. EVERYONE knows why you are riding around there, it's hardly a secret. This business is so organized that the pimps literally have the girls working shifts - so it stands to reason that they don't want customers getting hurt or knocked off, just for being customers. Obviously, there's a limit to that - you have to keep your head down and not go raising a ruckus in there.

My rules of thumb are - never stop for anyone in the road, just slowly go around them, don't come to a complete stop at stop signs unless our Uncle is present (and then follow the traffic rules to a T.), never offer a girl a ride if there's anyone within 50 feet or so, and don't ever park in the hood. Yeah, we stick out like a sore thumb, but that's just part of the deal.

What is funny is that even though I cruise 2-3 times a week, most of the folks in the hood still think that I am the police, even though they same guy in the same car giving girls rides. I don't mind them thinking that, as it may help me avoid trouble one day.

I made the loop around the Bragg area as well as Oakwood around 9:30. There was only one BSW on Hoke St and alot of LE in both places. I left after only passing thru a couple of times.

I know Durham has its own board, but thought I would ask you all. Anyone here cruised Holloway and that area? Is it rougher then Raleigh?

I have a new CL contact that turned out to be a great experience if anyone wants to share, pm me.

Boston. Is somewhat out of the game at this time. She's got a legit job but will do a little on the side for extra money (have to support that drug habit! ). Still kinda big, but is enthusiastic about the BBBJCIM.

Larissa. Just stay away from her at all costs. She has the skills, but I'd rather not take the risk of catching something. Plus she does not bathe often enough.

Sonya. Drunkard, she may be in jail at this time (hadn't seen her in a week or so). When drunk she gives a sloppy BJ and will try to choke herself on it. She can easily be talked into a lincoln and then get your money back afterwards if she's drunk enough! When sober her bjs are pretty good, but don't go bb with her due to illness.

Nicole. Luckily she has left the area (hopefully for good). She bounced about three months ago. Horrible BJ and attitude; was more apt to try and rob people than work for her money.

J-Lo. Back on the stroll again. She's a few months pregnant but still giving good BBBJCIM. Definitely worth picking up even though her looks have fallen.

Cindy. Older WSW, still around. She does good work for little money. Very honest about what she needs and willing to work out good prices.

There are a lot of newer girls coming out onto the street. There's a heavy-set WSW with reddish hair that's been out for a few months around Idlewild. She's usually hanging around a certain storefront near Oakwood, but can be seen walking around. Has anyone picked her up yet?

If you watch the news for a week or two it is most likely that you will see a shooting of some sort on a street you recognize from the zone. I work off Ellis rd near there and there are some very rough characters around there. I always keep my eyes opened in both Raleigh and Durham, but I am overly cautious in Durham especially after dark. Just be careful, especially if you are white and drive a nice car or look like you have money.

Be VERY careful when your out and about! I went out tonight for about 45 mins and saw at least 6 leo's all over the area around Hoke.

I went out yesterday afternoon andwile looking for 5G I liked hte look of a few of the really skinny Black ladys on Idlewild and Jones. I normaly don't pick the BSW because of the highter chance of bad attudes and problems. Not that the WSW don't have the same problem I've just found that they have it less offten, in my experince. Well to the question Do anyone hae any coments or information on the really skinny ones that have such small tits that they look like they could be guys, I really don't want to pick up a TV thinking I'm getting a girl. What are their attudes like and how is their service.

I would have continued to stay anonymous but a few of them actually look at the forums and asked if I could comment on them. I know almost everyone out but am very selective on who I will actually help out.

I've also noticed that no one has provided information on the scenic views off Wake Forest Rd. , Six Forks Rd. , and one area in Cary that's close to Raleigh. Does anyone else know which areas I'm referring to? They have nice scenery, but you have to be careful about LE.

In reference to your last sentence, I have no idea. However, as someone who refuses to tour the hood I would be all ears as to what areas you're talkin bout?

I would not worry much about posting. We do reside in America and are protected by freedom of speech. LE really has to catch you in the act in most cases to charge you with anything. I am rather respecful towards LE and realize they are just doing their job like anyone else, although I have long disagreed that prostitution among consenting adults should be legal. I do understand why they often need to clean up the street scene, but don't think it is necessary to go after low-profile discreet indoor providers. Just my opinion on the subject. But really, feel free to post, nobody is going to come kick in your door for posting here.

This IS an interesting question.
I've noticed lots of walkers on Sandy Forks, but they never seem like pros. And I've seen a couple of sws on Six Forks and Wake Forest over the years, but never enough activity to consider them hotspots.
