I've been out of the scene for a few years. My favorite spot in Koretown (Olympic above the doctor's office type place) closed down which bummed me out as it had the best most private setup and grannies who actually gave a good massage after making you pop with a finger in the ass.
I can't believe PrisM is still going to that shithole Goldfinger as well as the other awful westside spots. Why subject yourself to that? Prime Westwood Blvd. in front of the whole neighborhood to see? For mediocrity? No thanks. At least hit the other side of the 405 at the Indoor Beach Tan place or one of the others.
Honestly it's kinda sad how little intel is being passed around. It's just the same 4-5 spots over and over again.

Many of the better providers moved on to the owner's other location, Thai Spa on LaBrea in Hollywood. Took awhile but Silver Lake finally reopened with a new owner as a spot for legit massage only. That may have been an obvious response to the location being on LE radar. However, eventually the reviews indicated that a couple of the girls who remained after the place closed were sliding back into their old way of conducting business. So at least for awhile, it became a YMMV parlor depending on who your masseuse was. I haven't been there since just before the closure and haven't seen any credible reviews for a long time to update the status. So, scratching my head like you. It was a highly favored spot for me and I knew the owner and many of the girls very well which got me VIP treatment. Golden days for me and much missed.
Re Moon: Was another ATF spot for me if only for the presence of an amazing force of nature named Yumi and the best lead in you can have for a massage, an old school table shower which was free. Yumi is long gone and maybe still working in the deep south of the OC, and they charge I believe $20 extra for the table shower these days (gallons and gallons of hot water is expensive). I haven't been for years but note that they are getting primarily strong reviews on the Maps site. Maybe their strongest reviews ever with a lower level of LE paranoia than before. It was more about the TS, and a CMT quality rub when I was going, though Yumi and 1-2 others were also upper tier tuggers. The reviews make it sound like of a TUG & Rub place now. Less emphasis on the massage and few dudes ever mention the TS which is now priced beyond the interest of most. But still sounds like a good place to check out for those who were addicted to the old school Korean are&Ts which once predominated in Hollywood, K-Town and areas east towards downtown. I hope to try it out again one of these days.
