I agree. Also, from a provider's perspective, I would say it is probably best for them to switch phone numbers if they happen to get busted. That way, when backpage re-runs an old ad (and you don't even realize it) with your old phone number, LEO will simply call that old number in the ad, not your new number.

Good point; also remember that providers always have the option to remove or change those ads.

Actually, the one in the Bootheel is kind of small as Lion's Dens go. Scaled down for the Bible Belt, I guess. The ones in IN, IL and OH are full-on adult versions of Toys "R" Us. The ones I visit the most often are the one in Lowell, IN and the one in Marion, IL. There is another one north of Champaign, IL on I-57 I have seen but never visited. But the one in Lowell has it [b]ALL[/b] and I drive past it all the time, and get gas at that exit all the time.

But the best bet in M-town is Tammys, IMHO. There is Paris, and whatever the name of the place next door to the Tammys on the deadend of Brooks east of Airways, but Tammy's has stores all over town. Or just order the stuff off the internet, there is an unlimited number of places online to buy adult stuff.

Missouri seems to have a thing about shutting down stores that specialize in adult merchandise (when did the quaint term, "marital aids" go out of fashion, anyway? :) ). I've never spent a lot of time in the bootheel (for a short while after I moved to Memphis from STL my regular girlfriend and I would meet in Sikeston for occasional passionate weekends, until she found a guy closer; that's about it) but in the St. Louis area there was a chain called "Dr. John's" which always got hassled by the various municipalities they located one in.

The fun thing was that the cities that tried to shut the places down claimed that they attracted the "criminal element", but whenever the TV newscasts aired stories about those attempts to shut the place down, they showed films of the customers going in and out. The vast majority were dressed up in business suits (many of them were women), and were obviously business folks and professionals.... Heheheheheh

Have they been busted for prostitution? I don't know and I don't care. And I don't plan to spend hours rtff! There has been recent talk about how my "actions". Using my real name. Using my real home. Keeping track of my encounters. All these things are gonna bring leo "down on me". But. How many of the regular providers that don't do what I do have been busted? I don't know and I feel bad for those that have. But I am not one of them! Seems to me that I might be doing something right! For those who know me and have visited my playground.
