Not a frequent flyer of the Raleigh stripclub scene but was wondering if Ric's is open during daytime hours and if so is there a dancer anyone would recommend seeing while there? Thanks.

HOURS.
Mon-Thurs 2 PM - 2 AM.
Friday 12 PM - 5 AM.
Saturday 7 PM - 5 AM.
Sunday 7 PM - 2 AM.
I have not been to this place in MANY years, so definitely cannot confirm any details beyond website details.
I'm working nights right now and it's hard to find a dependable provider during the night time hours so I thought I would give the new club a try. I went to to Rick's for the first time on 1-5-22 at 10:30 PM the door fee was $22 and membership was free for the year. Nothing has changed as of yet on the inside as far as I could tell. I grabbed a seat got a $7. 50 beer and started watching dancers and walked up and tipped each dancer that appeared on stage. The club was not crowded however it was not close to being empty either and had a nice diverse crowd. The club had some very pretty women of different races and different ethnicities that I would have enjoyed meeting. I stayed until 12:45 AM and unfortunately I did not have one dancer come to my table and my pocket full of cash went unused for this evening. After I finished my drink I ended up leaving, maybe it was just a bad night however the door fee seems way to high and this is the first time I have ever walked out of a club feeling let down.

Thee only girl I talked to at all was the waitress who brought me drinks. Definitely disappointing. I hope the management straightens things out soon. I live around the corner and it is very convenient to visit.
This has been my experience with this club since I relocated here. I don't understand how the women make money. I have gone there 4 times in the past 10 years with a pocket full of cash and left the same way. Much different that than the clubs down south where ladies are aggressively working to get dances.

I don't think there is a dress code in Rick's that's different from previous ownership. No athletic wear like gym shorts or sweatpants, no plain white t's, and they check coats at the door.
The best way I can describe the dancers there are new era strippers. All of the girls have regulars. They have guys that pay them a good chunk of money to sit and chill with them. I don't partake, but once you build up a certain level of trust with the girls, I would say 80% of them do a pay for play in and / or outside of the club.
Dancers there also think they know when someone is willing to spend money in there. Their 1st priority are people that buy bottles. To them that'll indicate that a guy has fat pockets. They also look at guys based on appearance. Race, age, clothes, etc. It's not a foolproof system, but it's what they got.
This new era of strippers also treat the strip club like they're at a regular club. A lot of them expect men just to fawn over them and pursue them like they're just out on a Friday night.
Lastly, a lot of girls there are just pure lazy. I spoke with a non-dancer staff member one day, and we agreed that girls there have expected to just hangout with guys at a table and expect a large amount of money. They don't go around to initiate conversations, if they don't find a high roller after bare minimal effort they'll just give up. I also know several girls that pay the dj not to call their names to dance on stage.
Luckily there are a lot of new girls at the club, some are very attractive. Also I've been told that with new ownership, bouncers and management are more aggressive about getting the girls to be more interactive. I think if they've been sitting at tables for a long period of time they'll encourage them to get up. Your best bet if you see a girl you like is to throw some money when they're on stage to get their attention. Also, tip a bouncer or waitress to get a girl's attention. Strippers often go to wait staff to see who's spending money to dictate if going to a table is worth it in their eyes. Overall I've been where you guys were where I'll go in with a huge stack of money and walk out with the same thing. If you don't meet the standard strip club etiquette that the girls have then they won't bother. I'll just say hang in there a little while longer with new ownership. Things are changing slowly.

It's been 9 years or so since I been to the gentleman's club and the name changes but that's not all. It was very friendly getting in and being ushered in but as soon as we were in, the warmest thing was a friendly older bartender. The girls were cold and distant. 2 normal looking guys with a wad of cash in our pockets and we watched something I never seen before. Young strippers sitting in the bar eating and drinking like they were out on the town with some girlfriends. It wasn't anything like the many experiences I had in the past. The later it got, it didn't get much better. We walked out of the place with hundreds of dollars in our pockets. I never seen that kinda shit before. Girls were just camping with one guy the whole night and I know I am older now but the only offer of a lap dance was from that 1 shitty girl that never is on stage and is there just to pressure you into mediocre dances at outrageous prices. We spent about 80 $ in drinks and maybe 30 $ in singles and then we bounced out of there. Cheapest strip club experience of my life. However if this is the "new" strip club experience, it won't have me coming back for more.
And from what it sounds like, We weren't the only ones to have this experience.

Never heard extras could be had but there is always someone who will come and sit with you for a bit. There are still some girls who are always buried in their phones here too but there are several others who are willing to put some time with you.

Capital is better but still better than horrible so the bar is low. I have had luck with met and greet outside of capital but that is not really my thing I go tot a strip club for the experience in the club. Its like the girls are on salary here! Fayetteville and Jacksonville are way more in line with the norm than Raleigh.

CC is terrible and it's really gone downhill the past few years. No touch $30 couch dances aren't worth it and the stage doesn't allow the bump and grind like Rick's. As for Rick's seems worse at least to me since they took over but at least I can touch in the back during the regular couch dances.
Damn, it has been a long time since I went to TMC. Last time I was there a lap dance was $5. 00 and that was in 2011 if I'm not mistaken. I seem to remember TMC built or added on a section that had totally nude dancers but I never went to it. Looks like inflation is way up. I knew a guy who was blowing up to 10 grand a week there back then. Then girls came to the tables and would do what they could for at least a few minutes until they got the idea you weren't interested in them. Many nights I had one girl spend over several hours with me and other friends. Of course we did buy a couple private rooms and bought bottles of champagne also, but DAYUM, $40.00 for a lap dance? I think I would rather pay a pro to do an outcall if I'm about to spend over a grand.

Private dances are $45 freaking dollars a song AND, they want you to pay $5 for a mf'in wristband the first time you go back there. I bitched about it when I first went back and Dana (the older guy that's been back there for forever) recognized my and told me to just go back. But yeah, unless I got screwed, the private dances are $45/ song now. Ridiculous.
