Just read that the Hollywood Police has obtained license plate scanners that can read and store thousands of license plates per day.

Aside from immediately identifying potential stolen cars and the like if there is a question about a license tag they can punch in a tag number and ascertain where and how many times it was at certain locations.

I guess we don't need to be genius to figure out where this is going. In the "old" days if we saw the same cop three times we could figure out maybe to leave. Now, they will be able to see us but we won't see them.

P.S. They have stated that these cameras will be used to "track gang members and sex offenders". I take "sex offenders" to mean mongers.

I was in the area of Hollywood & US1 today. LE was UNBELIEVABLE! Between Sheridan and Hollywood, there must have been 15 LEOs. Unmarked, marked, motorcycles & even a uniform on foot harrassing a guy in his car at a stop sign. Un-f'ing-believable. Oh well, where to go for a quick BJ?

This is completely about the motel guests that are mostly canadiens and neighboorhood people complaining week in and week out. The heat will die down alot after Easter/Passover in April when most go back home.
