Not necessarily knocking Scroguard
Anyone tried this contraption?
https://scroguard.com/how-it-works
The early order period for these allowed you to buy one, get one free. Not willing to admit to trying it with a trusted female companion with a good sense of humor, but that hole for which you insert yourself is not very large as you'd hope and can cause constriction and friction (with the latex on latex), it feels like you're wearing a thong (they should have at least made boxer briefs), the classic latex smell is strong so Polyurethane as an alternative would be nice, anyone over a 38 inch waist may notice a really tight fit, and unless you're a Ken doll. You won't have room for your nuts. The unexpected issue is that the apparatus could make sounds of flatulence when in the K9 position (my friend assured me that it wasn't her). Claims of reusable and washable, and no claims that it actually prevents the spread of STIs (must go through FDA analysis like condoms have to). Sometimes, you just have to acknowledge that some just don't have the heart to hook up with random females. The reusable aspect was not a selling point for me (get the price down enough to just throw it away), so the trial ones have been long gone.
Stay safe,
Milfman.
My thoughts on trust, seniority, OPSEC etc.
I'm not a senior member, but I have been engaging in this hobby for a few years. I'm ok with this. Seniority here indicates a certain degree of trust, and I understand that. It widens access to intelligence on providers with more stringent screening requirements. In fact, I'd guess useful intelligence in general increases, and so it becomes desirable.
That said, the whole concept of a web of trust relies on the trustworthiness of its individual members. It's important to realize that these activities are not, strictly speaking, legal. I do not believe this is just, but it's true regardless. There can be legal, monetary, societal, familial, and personal consequences for providers and those that frequent them. A non-comprehensive list of bad things that can happen:
1. You can be ripped off, robbed, beaten, and even killed.
2. You can be arrested, prosecuted, incarcerated.
3. You can be shunned and mocked.
4. You can lose or be denied employment.
5. You can damage and / or lose personal relationships.
6. You can contract disease (s).
7. You can be burgled, or otherwise experience loss of property.
Etc.
This being the case, I would hope that people take seriously the decision to let others into their confidence, to vet / vouch for others, and screen accordingly. Everyone starts somewhere, but be careful with who you trust. And if you are new, don't take it personally when people don't trust you. They don't know you, and shouldn't trust you, nor you them.
That said, just because you are not a senior member within this particular circle, doesn't mean you are helpless. Learn to gather your own actionable intelligence and make your own risk / reward determinations. Utilize open source intelligence (OSINT) to vet particular providers. Learn to think like those who would cause you trouble, and act accordingly. Those who want to rob you, arrest you, catch you cheating, or whatever have particular resources, capabilities, and methods. Learn a little bit about physical surveillance.
Separate your personal and hobby and life. Use a burner phone, google voice, or some other VOIP provider. Learn from the mistakes of others. Develop your own OPSEC guidelines: google grugq OPSEC and read.
At the end of the day, bad things can still happen to you, but consider this: Is it more likely for good things to happen to someone who wings it, and is lucky, or for bad things to happen to someone who takes precautions and is unlucky?
Be safe.
Hope this is right thread
Well I see a new member knows how to use the report button but not the search function. The hobby is not like it used to be when I started on this board about 18-24 months ago. Seems like all the new members feel we, the members that have seen providers and posted reviews and TOFTT on occasions, owe them information we worked to obtain. I had a little help to begin (thank you Load2 for helping me with the lovely and missed ToriA). I have on many occasions helped out new members when I thought they had done some footwork. I don't remember the member I posted about earlier but I see your colors by flagging me then blocking me so I can see your posts in the future. Saved me from having to read info requests from you. To new members I still will help if I can but this last incident has me jaded to being helpful. I know the title "senior" is a magic charm to info buy it does help some to give you some credibility. I don't hobby much but I will still pass on info if I am able. I am done with my rant.
