So I set up an appointment from a chick named Brooke on RR. Beautiful red head spinner. Normally, I check for other profiles. But hers actually had reviews and they're were mostly good. The location was very safe and in an upscale area. I noticed that her profile was no longer up from the weekend. But with the reviews, I figured I'd take the plunge. Yesterday when confirming, she said that she doesn't take cash (should have been the 2nd red flag. The first should have been her no longer having a profile up). So I was prepared to Zelle or Send an Ebay card. When I get there she asks for half upfront before coming to see me. It was at that moment that I should have bailed. NEVER give money prior to seeing them. NEVER. Ignoring all of the signs, I sent half. I had to resend bc the bank rejected it. She gave instructions to send again but not with even numbers. Immediately after she confirms payment, she then says that she has been robbed in the past and would need a 3 x what I sent her initially, as a deposit of which I would get a refund of the difference. It was at that very moment that I knew I was scammed. If I were to go back, there were many things that I could have seen as red flags. It was a learning lesson. I will stick to women who are well reviewed and have a large social presence. Instead of wondering I've found a hidden Gen that hadn't been reviewed yet, I should have stuck to my normal process.

So sorry to hear this. I have been shutting down 3 or 4 scammers per day now since September but they are like cockroaches and keep coming back. I do not understand how they get past the verification process yet on RR and EA. If the sites would delete accounts once verified as fake they should be having a harder time finding a way to verify.

These folks are not as well organized as the groups running the IRS, Norton or other commercial scams. These guys are in groups though and do share scripts. As said before the clear giveaway is that even if you want incall they ask for your location or "wya? Then I respond with some obscure location outside of their posting area. Last case was "Daddysville, NC" Surprisingly that is where they are located. Then after several more minutes they realized they screwed up because there are no hotels there! As we progress through the back and forth we eventually get to the deposit ask. I have systems set up to simulate Cash App payments so I can keep the game going for a while longer to get as much data as I can. Most of these folks are in India. If you google Vegas Mall, New Dehli or in the industrial area of Kolkata.

As mentioned here before Never give a deposit. Even though $20 is not a lot of money to you its a windfall for them. They will be messaging with hundreds of horny guys throughout the data and to just get three or four of them to pay up is great payday.

From caller ID I soon got a call from Washington, DC US Marshal and I blocked it. A couple of days later from US Marshal in Lexington KY. Since they made several calls in quick succession, no voicemail and the ad didn't feel right, I assumed it was "scammy". Thanks for posting this. It confirmed my suspicions. P.S. I used google voice for this, so there is that level of anonymity. This was the only text to an unfamiliar number that I made in a few weeks. Initially, it did get my attention. They won't even respond to simple request; "send me a photo of you holding up 3 fingers or a fork" I get a response of "I don't have any photos like that" or 30 $ for a picture. Over here in the Triad (not Triangle), I've messaged several from LC, Sumosearch, etc who list they are in my city. Then, after 10 texts back and forth, they'll say they are in the city "next to me" and will want a deposit to safe a spot. Answer the dang 1st question I send.
