Yep. However, it's possible that two different girls were represented by the same ad. Only after I got back home did I notice (using the cached Google link) that the phone number on the Eros ad had been changed between the time he called and the time I did (about 5 days later). The older number just leads to a full voicemail box. It's hard to believe that the real girl would allow a fake to use her ad like that. Like I said, the reviewer didn't have anything to say to me about that whole business. It doesn't appear that his review was fake, given his reviewing history. Ah, it's more than I can figure out.

I talked to a girl that used Eros, she said they dont check anything other than to see if your Crdit card (or other method of payment) is valid. Thats why for the most part you get a better quality of girl because backpage, Craigslist, and most others are free to post ads. eros they actually have to pay to have their ad posted.

I don't know what the rates are for EROS , but I think I saw that CL charged 5 or 10 dollars per post . They started that when they re-arranged the adult section , after the string of girls that were killed and attacked made the news . That's why the flag option has been removed on that section . But I also saw a page talking about how they could use one of the pre-paid credit cards so they couldn't be tracked by LE .

They actually have quite an extensive list of rules, as I'm sure they have to to be able to maintain their business without getting in any hot water.

Yes I also talked to a girl about this when they started it (she used to give me a deal on visits if I would post for her cause she didnt have access to a computer.) I quit doing that when they started cracking down on Craigslist, (if they really wanted to they could track by IP not just the CC # used) but yeah she said they started charging 5 bucks a post and I think she said it was 30 for a month(?) on Eros (I could be wrong but I remember thinking it wasnt many 5 dollar posts on CL before they would have had enough to post on Eros.)

I concur with Corvette's assessment. I was finally able to set something up with her. She apparently was out of town when I first tried to reach her and did not respond to emails for about a week. After that she responded in a reasonable timeframe, but seemed to book quickly such that it still took more than a week to find an open slot via email. By the time I would respond to an open slot she had listed for me it would be filled. Other than that, services were essentially exactly as Corvette described.

Tracking by IP probably wouldn't work if you used a public internet access like Starbucks or Barnes & Noble as your IP address comes from your internet provider. Every computer has a unique MAC address, but I would think that would be harder to track?

Tracking by MAC addresses wouldn't be very reliable either.
Tools that spoof the MAC address are a dime-a-dozen and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to use one.

Granted, there will always be a few that won't know how to do this but in the age of Google all you have to do is search a few keywords and you are presented with all kinds of information regarding your topic of search.

Usually when making a new account Eros will also require you to send in a copy of your DL, to verify pics are you (as best they can) and to make sure all ladies are over 18, they used to make you take a photo holding your id, and something showing the date you took the photo! they verify best!!

Well if they check it so good , then how are there so many fakes ?? I know alot of people know who Mellisa Midwest is . She has been on the news , and talk shows . But there were 3 of her pics on EROS the other week , with another name , here in Charlotte .

And there have been several others I have seen over the past few months as well . I don't really trust any of the pics of girls posted on the net anymore . They should have a pic of them holding a current news paper , from the city they are in . Then we could tell they are real and recent . You must be right . I have only seen their " verified " stamp on a very few of the adds lately . I think that alot of the girls used to do this a couple years back . Then EROS had alot better reputation . Now , they, like most other boards , are flooded with posers and wanna B's . I think that about 50% of their adds look TGTBT , even at the higher prices . I've actually had better luck with some of the agencies on there .

But still.. I would trust Eros over Back page anyday. Having said that, many girls advertise on both, and the price they quote on Eros is usually higher than their backpage price. So if you see a girl you like on EROS, double check the Phone# on backpage just to see if the same girl has posted for lower there.

Just wanted to inform the forum that as I reported and has since been confirmed by at least one member who has seen both agreed that Brooklyn and Destiny are the same person.
