I responded with "desole, je ne parle pas francais tres bien" (Sorry, I don't speak French very well.) Actually, I can speak it,(though at that time Ionly knew maybe 800 words) but I barely understand squat when it's spoken to me.

Anyway, that doesn't work in a bilingual city. Though I didn't have much money, I ended up buying him a cheeseburger and a Coke.

One thing that I still clearly remember from the conversation we had was him saying "I can tell you're a good person. You'll be paid back. When you do something good for somebody, you're always paid back. Not always by the same person, but you're always paid back. Same goes for bad. ".

And I have noticed that yeah, it pretty much does happen that way. BUT, if you're actively trying to see it, it seems to blow right by you.

So yeah Karma, divine retribution, payment of the universe, whatever you want to call it, I've seen it happen too much to discount it.

My hotel was only 5 miles from the airport and he took me on an hour ride around the city costing me way more than the ride back when I departed and realized how close the airport really was. At which time I said "merde quel imbcile j'avais t".

I met with SexyRed and she has had some extreme personal issues that affected her discernment but she has worked hard at dealing with them and for that I give her a great deal of credit. As I have stated many times in the past we all are human and sometimes circumstances of life make us take the wrong fork in the road. Thanks to our federal gasoline taxes bridges can be built to reconnect the two forks. Such a bridge has been forged by SexyRed to repair past behavior and indiscretions. That being said I feel it important to clarify the issues previously posted.

Those that believe in Jesus feel he practiced selfless concern for the well being of others. FF did this for two reason (that he clearly stated) from the beginning. First and foremost, to advise mongers of past issues by a provider. These issues should be known by mongers so they can decide knowledgeably if they want to see this provider. He would have done this same thing (and has) with any other provider with similar known issues. Second, because there was a brotherhood issue. Unlike you, many of us know about this from the standpoint of this situation and the brotherhood belief as a whole.

As being the person he is, he was willing to look past any personal issues that may have previously occurred and to allow a fresh start. This was not necessary. He could have just left it were it was and many members of this board would have not even considered seeing her. He clearly stated updates on the two original issues and how she has already fixed the issues or is working on resolving. Apparently unlike you, some of us know of multiple situations where this man has went so far above and beyond what any of would have done in effort to help providers, mongers, or the bobby as a whole.

If you really knew Red like a select few of us do, you would know that she would not give a free ride anyways if that was tried. If that was attempted, the fire of the red gene would have came out.

I told him he should have at least gotten that out of all this, hell I have probably told him that at least couple dozen times in situations like this over the years, but does he listen to me? No, and that is to his credit though I suppose. He can be a royal pain in many asses, and we often disagree over things to do or to be done, but he is more considerate than just about anyone I know, and his capacity for forgiveness and the granting of second, third, fourth chances and extended beyond is not within my scope of comprehension. I am a vengeful and non-forgiving prick and except for one time have / would never let myself be in a position I would care enough or put myself in a place where I was even remotely close to being taken advantage of or being in a position of weakness. I know it's a big word, but it's also a big deal. For the members here, it's a subject that regularly comes up.

When I first stumbled upon USASG, I thought FF was a pompous ass and a blowhard. He seemed like one of the know-it-all fakes, who frequently show up on discussion forums, and don't get me started on all those Freckle postscripts. Seriously, let it go.

But then I RTFF and I noticed something, people actually deferred to him, reasonable, knowledgeable and intelligent people, plus a few weirdos. I discovered there was something more than my first impression.

Accountability. Not only did FF expect it of others (just like everyone else), but he demanded it of himself. For an exhaustive proof go read the Ursula the sea witch blog. If you don't have the time, just look at the recent Sexy Red situation.

I remember when Sexy Red first appeared on the scene. I still have the pm introducing her. At the time I was baffled by the pm. I was still new and I thought unknown. My first thought was some sort of scam, but then reviews started coming in. For a while she was apparently one of the best in the area. Then apparently things changed.

When she recently returned I was unaware of the past issues, until FF posted about them. While I was surprised with the allegations, I was also impressed with the way they were presented. It was a factual, buyer beware post without an attempt to be vindictive.

What was more impressive was his arbitration efforts and retraction. He went out of the way to hold himself accountable and tried to heal the wounds. That's the opposite of a dick move.

I've never met FF. I'm a little worried my finely freckled shoulders would present roo great of a temptation. Clearly he doesn't need me to defend him. Hell, even the providers are stepping up for him. That alone should convince anyone capable of outwitting cheese, FF has been a true friend to many. I don't mean to be insulting, but there's a tendency for providers to be self-absorbed, which is understandable when you consider the occupation.

Perhaps now would be a good time to bite the bullet, Indyanon. Whatever your real issue with FF, this battle has already been lost.

I have not yet had the pleasure to meet Sara8032 or Mmgeg (hopeful that changes very soon). I just wanted to say that it is very refreshing to hear from providers on this forum. So often we hear from hobbiest and don't get any perspective from the other side.

I know that Many people are highly regarded here. Their opinions carry a lot of weight but I do not take their word as gospel. With the advice and information gathered here I make my own choices. I should say I make my own informed choices. For that I will be forever grateful. I am hopeful to provide some information and advice in return. That is the point of this forum is it not?

Plus getting AutumnSky involved with NA and participating helped me realize everyone deserves a second chance. I also believe that 95% of people in this world actually want things to be good in their own way. It's the rhetoric behind finding common ground that obstructs an equitable resolution.

Now I am just trying to give back. And yes Ilapp those foreign places work for me. Just wish they worked for me more often than against me. But it's my choice.
