Maybrook Spa. Face mask update
Are they still trying to do face masks the entire time you're there?
Sign on the door and she was wearing an N95 style mask as well. However, I didn't ask, just assumed and left mine on.
She didn't temperature check or sanitize my hands but the stuff was still on the table in the vestibule, and a box of masks.
Has anyone been here? I have never been to an Asian Massage Spa before, this is close to home. What can I expect? Services?
The first few remarks are largely irrelevant, but bear with me. I started this hobby in late 2019. And I started keeping a spreadsheet. (No, I'm not sharing it, so don't ask via PM. Not directed at you SikkPigg). I can speak intelligently about any venue in the have, especially if it's east of the river. This is one of the first places I visited. It is NOT particularly close to me, but I had to visit it.
Here are my spreadsheet notes from Feb 2020: "This place is a total bait and switch. They advertise, at various sites, using pictures of gorgeous young Asian women. This is usually a strong indicator that you're going to get at least an HE with your massage, if not more. But no! The 2 ladies that were working, when I walked in around 8 pm one eve, were the oldest Asian ladies I've ever seen. They looked 60-ish, which means they were probably in their 80's (a joke, given how much younger Asian women look compared to their age, overall). Signs everywhere saying essentially "Keep Your Underwear On". I took mine off, out of defiance. A good massage, no doubt. But nothing offered. And I wouldn't have taken it, had it been offered. I won't return. That's dirty pool. If you're a legit place, don't hint via advertising that you might offer extras."
Additionally, SikkPigg, their Google reviews have multiple women reviewing. Women typically don't frequent the places that we prefer to frequent. I'm sure there are women that seek out erotic massage, but statistically-speaking.
Also, the use of the word 'Family' in the title is in direct juxtaposition to HEs (et. Al.)
Finally, when you Google their name and / or phone number, nothing shows up indicating any reviews at this site or it's competitors (which I'm guessing I should not mention by name, here. Or the Admins will shit).
I feel for you. That's "the only game in town" if you're in Pleasant Valley. You'll have to travel north to Kingston, or come south into Pok / Wapp / Fishkill, or go to Aroma in Highland. Sorry.
Unless, of course, I'm wrong. And management has changed and they offer a whole new thang. Keep in mind: my notes are from Feb 2020.
