COLUMBUS, Ohio. Police in Columbus say a 27-year-old woman being questioned in a prostitution and drug investigation jumped to her death from a third-floor hotel window.
A police spokesman says two plainclothes officers were running warrant checks on four women and two men in a room at a Red Roof Inn in north Columbus on Tuesday night when Tiffany Vanover "suddenly went toward the window. " She died later at a hospital.
Sgt. Rich Weiner says the operation was routine until Vanover "got scared" and jumped.
The Columbus Dispatch reports that the agency's critical incident response team, which typically responds to officer-involved shootings, is investigating because the woman's death occurred while she was in custody.

I have never seen her BCD. She was young. I wish she would have gotten help. No matter how she lead her life she was still a human being. She might have had warrants or didn't want to get dope sick in jail.
I was in a 5 year relationship with a BP provider. We lived together for a while in Westerville. She was hooked on pills. Sadly many of these providers don't care about living, just making it to their next fix. Tiffany may have had her reasons for taking the window over the stairs (benefit of the doubt that the story is accurate), but it was unlikely that anyone could have "saved her. ".

"They were approached and solicited for sexual activity. No money exchanged," says Delaware County Sheriff, Russell Martin.
Seven men were charged with public indecency in parks such as Alum Creek Lewis Center Road, Alum Creek Kilbourne Road access and Alum Creek Beach at 3400 Lewis Center Road.
10 TV went to the home of one of the suspects, but no one answered the door.
The sheriff says deputies witnessed the crimes in broad daylight in the parking lot and near the woods.
This is Becky Lee's first time to the Alum Creek Beach with her husband and two boys.
"It's pretty disturbing. I definitely wouldn't leave these guys unattended," she says.
As disturbing as the crimes are, she says she's glad the sheriff's department is paying attention this kind of behavior.
