This past Tuesday I picked up this WSW by the P.O. Box downtown, her name was julie chubby girl in her early 30's. I picked up some mail and was heading out and she gave me the look and I pulled over and parked. She walked up and I asked her to jump in. Birmingham police arrest eight people in prostitution sweep

Eight people were arrested in a sweep last week to clean up prostitution in northeastern Birmingham, police said today.

The Birmingham Police Department's Vice Unit held a prostitution operation in the 5000 block of First Avenue North on April 22, said Sgt. Johnny Williams, public information officer for the police department.

Six people were arrested for soliciting for prostitution. Two others were arrested for loitering for prostitution.

The charges are misdemeanors, Williams said.

Saw Rope A Dope on TV a little while ago. He sure is proud that they have taken 8 dangerous criminals off the street. These guys that were busted were most definitely a threat to our way of life. Speaking of which, Rope needs to get one. He justified setting up a sting with a female undercover officer posing as a SW to bust mongers by saying that most SWs are drug users and by arresting the mongers it is helping to prevent SWs from being able to buy drugs. What a moron! Does he honestly think that because monger A gets arrested that a SW won't simply go to monger B?

Looks like there at it again. 8 arrest, WOW. Ropeadope must be hurting for some news. 8 arrests, they must have used a butch with a dip, hahaha. The ones that I have always been worried about are the real clean ones. If it looks like it doesn’t belong usually it doesn’t.

So that's what all that was last week. I was around the area that night and there were cops everywhere. You couldn't go down a few blocks for what you didn't see cops either riding, or having someone pulled over. There were flashing blue lights everywhere. That was my cue to head to the house, lol. I figured there had to be something like that going on. What's funny is the area has seemed sort of dry for a long time now, yet they acted like the SW were flooding the area or something.

Of the TV guys arrest.

Like a light went off in some cops head "Lets waste some time with BS arrests".

I think Ropers approach is, lets have them arresting SOMEBODY just so they wont be eating donuts the entire shift.

Its kind of like...admit they are powerless over the REAL criminals so we might as well arrest whoever.

In the end, the johns spend an hour or two or three in jail and pay a few hundred dollar fine. The SWs spend a few days in jail getting 3 meals a day.

I guess the only real deterrent would be those Johns who have already been arrested for soliciting. They might face a larger fine the 2nd time around.

I can definitely imagine Atlanta and Kansas City being hot but I haven't typically heard good things about Nashville. I would have assumed that it would have been about the same as Birmingham with regard to the street scene.

Nashville seems to be more of the escort scene compared to here. You'd think also with NFL and NHL teams as well as it being the hotbed of country music there would be more activity there than here. I wasn't necessarily meaning actually comparing those cities, but moreso because those were the places he used to work and what he must have gotten away with in those places that wasn't ever discovered.
