I saw that Stephanie replied to MmmBoobies post, before realizing that it originally appeared in February. Since 'Alex' has apparently 'resurfaced' recently, it reminded me of how often I experienced the same thing, with Alex and others. I cannot understand why 'friends' of the hobby go to so much trouble to advertise their skills, willingness and availability. Then suddenly lose contact and refuse to respond, after having already making 'arrangements'? It often takes up several hours of my time just to find a way to 'fit into their schedule'. Then, to take time away from work, make the drive, wait another 15 mins to hr for the last minute details, only to be stood up, is totally inexcusable, frustrating, and good cause to dump them from my bucket list forever. Occasionally an apology and excuse will soon follow, but I make it point to remember those that wasted my time. I still question why they put so much work into scheduling an appointment, then bailing out in the last few minutes? I suspect that they may often double book their time, and if a 'regular' or better tipper shows up first, they forget you were even scheduled? That's still no excuse for wasting the time of those they were trying so hard to meet?

I have never met Stephanie, and should probably consider her for an adventure sometime? If nothing else, she seems to at least recognize how important it is to keep in close touch with her clients? I'll go back and rtff to see what may have been reported in the past about her strengths and weakness'. It would be nice to have a dependable friend to share an occasional adventure with, when I wanted to, and not have to wait until her 'friends' apt was available, or when the baby sitter gets here, or when her phone is working, or when her roomate leaves, etc, etc etc, LOL. Funny how they always can find you when their "electricity is about to be turned off" or when they're "hours away from having their phone turned off", LOL? Guess I'll just give it awhile and see what happens. Got a call while shopping with my mother (who has dementia) wanting me to meet and loan some money out.
