I know of a girl who was taken during the raid. She was held, interrogated, and later set free. She does not have a GC, or current visa, and has no idea if she will be deported or allowed to stay in the states.
What she did say is that FBI wants the women to give up info on the person or persons who transport them from Korea to the U.S.. Some women are still held up. One thing for sure is that she is scared, and wants to change her current career. She knows there will be no next time. The feds told her so.
This = Not suprising.

The girls are probably being held in York, Pa, at the prison. That is where law enforcement normally takes illegals and undocumented individuals.
They can't hold these people indefinitely without contact to outside world. Isn't that unlawful imprisonment?
Also, consider this: If she really wanted to reach you, might she have already done so through an attorney or some other party?
With the new patriot act and all those kinds of things it is quite possible that they can hold you with no contact if they label you a terrorist or committing terrorist acts. I'd also say that they could make a case that if the women are coming from korea, and korea is part of the axis of evil, that ergo these women could be linked to terrorists, and in which case they can be held for the reason of protecting national security. 1984 here we come.

Axis of ignorance
Irock:
North Korea, South Korea, whatever.
To the rest of you, do we know if these girls were willing participants or not? The media is saying they're not and that they've been trapped into the life. Others on these boards are saying they're very willing and making money. I know we don't like to think about this, but any thoughts?

Irock: South Korea is no axis of evil. I'd bet the farm on that one. Many mp workers are mixed nationals from both China, S.Korea, and other SE Asian variants.

Factual information
There is 20 girls being held in Albuquerque NM if you have their A# (immigration given number) you can get someone to speak to you about their whereabouts. Without this number forget it virtually impossible. Many of the spa owners have given thousands of dollars to the girls families / friends for legal fees and bond hearings. I know of a couple DC owners who barely gave anything (financial help) when these women were looking out for their owners. Friday at 1:00 PM all of the girls had their first court date. Court was held in El Paso TX a six-hour drive in a van. Another six-hour drive back to Albuquerque arriving at about 11:30 PM last night. Out of 20 girls one of the married girls was released on her own PR some of the other girls will have bond hearings within the next two weeks. The rest of the girls are all headed back to Korea! Fiances, wife's, girlfriends even mothers. No exceptions! These are the 20 women who would not sign the paper indicating they would not help in the investigation. For the first 10 days they were interrogated and asked to sign. Some of them were scared in regards to the repercussions of their families and refused. Some of them 13 to 15 days later with attorneys via their side said they would sign the paper. Immigrations said too bad we gave you 10 days to cooperate were done talking now! One thing I've learned out of all of this when Immigration and Federal investigation are involved you got big trouble! By law these women are on American soil and are supposed to be entitled to legal counsel a court hearing / bond hearing. These people make up their own rules and do what they want when they want. On the 11th day these DC women were flew to New York from New York they took a short van ride altogether there was 4-stops 2- flights the rest driving every stop picking up different women on the East Coast final destination Albuquerque NM. This is all done in a effort to keep them moving around and away from legal counsel. Hopefully to get them in court without counsel. Friday there was not too many lawyers in the courtroom :(
Black Wednesday has really shook things up on the east coast!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Most of the girls have 10-year American visas, no Green Cards unless they
married someone here or obtained a valid job thru a sponsor that only a Korean could perform (and I don't mean Amp work).
95% of them arrive in JFK on a non-stop Korean Air flight, occasionally on
Asiana Airlines. They get thru US Customs without a problem, due to the
valid visitors visa they have. Occasionally the US Visa is 6 months, but usually 10-years. They do need to go back to Korea once a year or once every two years, a requirement of the visitors visa, or in the case of the 6-month visa, within 6-months.
If they do not do that nor obtain a Visa extension from the Immigration Office
in Vermont, they are here illegally.
The illegal action is the obtaining of the Visa in the first place. The Visas
are genuine, but, they are obtained in Seoul, S. Korea after the K-gang pays
off American US Consulate workers who are on the take. This is the fraud, US
government employees selling visas for money. Its a nice bonus for them.
The girls pay the gang $15K and the gang shares part of that with the
US Consulate workers.
Really now, if the US government wants to stop this, all they have to do is
go to Amps, check the girls visas, determine which US Consul employees issued them and fire and jail those employees. Its almost as if we (USA) are intentionally looking the other way to allow Korea to send Amp women here
to keep prostitution off the streets in non-descript Amp houses. Hey, maybe its a deal, we keep our soldiers in Korea and Korean hookers come here.
Some girls freelance in USA for non-Asian Escort agencies, sometimes
Asian escort agencies, its a mix, they prefer non-Asian after getting their feet on the ground. The more attractive women usually work for the escort
agencies, the work is better, the hours are less demanding and they have
most of the day to themselves and they live in apartments and go to wealthy guys in nice hotels in NYC.
The transporters the FBI and ICE are looking for are the guys that do inventory control and deliver merchanise to Amps. Amps get freelance girls
sometimes but usually contact recruiters/transporters with whom many of the
girls have business relationships with. Also recruiters/transporters are assigned Amps to service, they have their routes assigned. So lets say Downtown wants a busty worker to replace Jay because Jay has to take her vacation to Korea and wants to replace little Cindy because she is not being selected much. The transporters/recruiters say who they have that meet the description of busty Jay and little spinner Candy and they contact two girls who are on the bench and asking for work, they agree (sometimes the girls say no, I don't want to go to that spa, they have a choice if they want) and they get transported in class in a Korean taxi to Downtown Spa.
Meanwhile, lets say Louie from Happiness in DC is tired of seeing the same crowd and giving all those BBBJ to Lovelos, etc. and she calls the transporter and says find me a job in LA, I'm tired of DC, and I want to see more of America and LA has more Korean restaurants, clubs, etc. So the transporter finds her an Amp in LA, buys her a plane ticket (Louie's English is not the best and she has no US credit cards or credit, just cash in Korean banks, sometimes now a debit card), he drives her to the airport (he speaks Korean) carry's her bags and gets her to the right terminal at Dulles and she is off.
In LAX another transporter meets her at the airport and takes her to the new
LA Amp.
They primarily are after these guys. They are like an employment agency,
very much like a version of a more intimate KELLY GIRL.
But the K-gang higher ups, who are likely more often in Korea than here control the operation. The girls are recruited from Korean amps or street
workers or bar girls in Korea, given a little training and then brought here.
Rarely are they brought over illegally via Canada or Mexico, that is mostly
propaganda by FBI/ICE.
The Amp owners/managers and recruiters/transporters and Korean Taxi
work as a very thorough and organized machine in this business. Everybody gets a cut of the money. And, there is so much money, it exceeds ten
billion dollars per year. Man, we have an expensive habit!
The FBI and ICE want the girls to reveal the identities of the transporters in
USA and to implicate the owners/managers. In return, they will drop all
charges, even if visa has expired, drop tax evasion, and give THEM and
THEIR family in South Korea GREEN CARDS immediately.
That is how bad they want to get to the source or what they think is the source; but it is not the source, it is just the middlemen who are employed
by the SOURCE, and even they might not know who the SOURCE is.

I spoke recently with an mp girl. She originally told me she overstayed her visa last year. In her conversation in the spring she mentioned arriving at the airport. Later she changed her story that she entered through Canada. She worked for approx 1 month then the Big Bust happened. She is shacked up with a couple other girls, at the mamasans home.
I believe she is kept close to Mama, for fear of fbi,and immigration problems. Without the amps these creatures are like fish out of water. She is quite pissed that she has not been able to make money for almost 3 weeks. The U.S. media will never admit the truth, that MONEY is the reason these women, middlemen, brokers do what they do. No one is forced to do anything, but make tons of cash.

Money....
Smoke & Mirrors / York,
You guys are absolutely right money is all this was about.
Including gifts these girls receive their able to send home over $20,000 a month firm. Some of you older man shower the girls with extra money. I know more than a few of you at different times have tipped over $1500. Showered them with expensive gifts ( one of you bought a $10,000 watch yes it is real ) take them on shopping spree / vacations. On more than one occasion.
York spoke of some girls going on vacation (back to Korea) when the mamma tells you the girls on vacation that does not mean she's going to Korea. That means 2 days of sleeping than if you go to Tysons Galleria or over on what I call money ally (Tiffany's, Gucci and all the other`s in that cul-de-sac) around 3:30 PM you more than likely run into more than one of them. Running around with bags full with high-end merchandise the girls also spend about $800 apiece monthly each for room and board this also includes cook mamma / house mama`s fees. There bringing home over $30,000 a month. The house pay alone daily generates between $3000/$4000 in some of the spa`s that have six or more girls.
I know for sure most of these girls cannot come and go to Korea. They're here for one reason make money big money. They buy homes, land, office buildings etc. the majority of them are very smart business minded women. After three to five years depending on the girl they go home. Living extremely comfortable lavishing lives. (For their countries standards)
Don't get me wrong there's a lot of them that are alcoholics with huge gambling/drug problems (Atlantic City, Las Vegas even these little Korean homes that are gambling houses) these women in a one month timeframe will gamble a small fortune. Making calls to friends and owners for loans not leaving the casino / gambling house for anything. Once reality sets in its back to work and the cycle starts again!
As I stated in previous post. This is a profession that is as old as time many people before have tried to stop the sale of sex. I for one think over the hundreds of years the government has spent billions of dollars trying to stop it.
Just my observation I think you're losing the battle!
SEX SELLS BIG and the revenue it brings his even bigger legalize it quit spending my tax dollars on a losing effort. Start spending my tax dollars on a solution to make safe sex between consenting adults legal. Personally I think this would knock STD related diseases in 1/2 and generate a SURPRISING amount of revenue. Which personally I think could be used to fight the war on drugs which I think in the past thirty-five years has gotten totally out of hand I'm over middle-aged and thirty-five years ago I had heard of marijuana now WTF there's more stuff on the street than in the pharmacy.
Rather than trying to keep me from having sex why not try to protect our children!
Let's face it where adults that enjoy the company of women ( plural ) I'm totally against rapist / and child abusers. What is the problem with consenting adults doing whatever they want to do and would be willing to pay the government not having to run around and hide.
Just one man of many men's opinion.

AJ;
Thanks for the informative report. Other than face to face, all I had was the cell phone contact. I only have a name, so I guess none of these bogeymen will talk to me about my friend's status.

back in action
Paid a visit to one of my back up locations on Sunday. Glad to see open doors again. Said to see the lock at CH2
The session was unremarkable. Maybe it was my melancholy over the disruption. Maybe she was just tied too tight to her routine. I had fun. Just not enough.

Call me crazy, but I can't see any connection between terrorism and the fine looking women that work at the various MPs. I know that there is the whole notion that because they are from Korea, it automatically means that they must be connected to Uncle Kim Jong whateverthefuck my name is. I think these women are doing a very fine service for our society (even if they do not like to pay taxes) and they are probably responsible for reducing crime rates, because there would be a lot more frustrated men if it weren't for these nice women.
