Well, it's been a while since I've been to this forum for anything other than lurking, mostly because I'm not too keen on the street scene, and there seems to be little else going on in this town.

Still, I thought I'd put in my 2 cents worth, and answer the question about CL with my own experiences, limited as they may be.

I might have just lucked out, or tried this before vice got their act in gear, but after waffling and chickening out for about a year, I tried it out, twice. (Once last year around March, and once again in December. Hurray for my Christmas bonus money.)

And, while my very limited budget doesn't let me even consider Anything too pricey, I had OK service both times, even if it was all fairly straight to business action, and little down-time before or afterwards. Both times the girls where a little on the chubby side, and while I prefer them slimmer, I wasn't paying top dollar, and I got off from it, so it was a reasonable expense.

Now, this is just my admitedly limited experience outside of AMP's and it is a somewhat biased opinion, so I could be all wrong here about the typical CL experience in Bako.

Besides, I have no idea if the selection and customer experience really does improve as you move up the pay scale or if its all chance, every time. (I suppose regulars might get better treatment and find nicer girls to frequent.) Somebody with deeper pockets than me will have to enlighten us all eventually, I suppose.

From here on, is strictly my opinion and personal advice, so feel free to ignore it:

Overall, I would say I'd had cheaper & friendlier experiences in the AMP's in the LA & SF areas for less money. Of course, that also means spending the time & money to get there on the first place, so from a purely economic stand point, I don't know if it's really worth it, compared to CL, unless you were heading that way for other business, anyway.

Bottom line, your CL experience will depend on a combination of luck picking someone OK, and on how much you are willing to shell out for the experience. Given the rates of some of the posters there, it may not be worth your time unless you have the $$$ and no time or ability to head to LA or SanFran for cheaper providers.
And, if you have $$$ to spend, why not leave Bakersfield for the weekend, go to a nice AMP, and spend the extra cash treating the rest of you to a comfortable hotel bed, a good meal and your favorite drink instead of risking a sting or blowing it in just an hour on an overpriced CL ad?

Looks like a new AMP in town. It may take a few weeks before I can check it out, i will out of town for a few days and hope to visit an AMP while out. As before, if you don't have many post I'm sorry but I will not give out any info. I noticed a couple posts ago Topdog mentions a new AMP opening in Bakersfield. I think I know of all the AMPs in Bakersfield. Including the one that opened on White Lane for a few days and then was closed. I reacted too late to vist that establishment. Has something new opened since that location? . We sure need a good AMP in this town but they seem to get closed fairly quickly. Please help.

Sorry hunter me but the only way I'll give out any info. Is if you have any credible leads and more posts. I've finally came across some ladies who are willing to do business, so whenever you get more posts then you might be able to get more info.

Roamed the streets once again on Monday night. Saw 2 le's right when I was about to make my move on hsw. Instead I went home and hit the sack. Better luck next time. Hows your vacation goin TD?

Man. This town is tough. No AMPs and yesterday and today the newspaper and local news have big articles on a police bust and an investigative reporter who reveals some posts from an internet site. It would seem like we have bigger issues here than this. Or maybe my thinking is scewed up?

Couple days ago I noticed that a certain MP was open again, so I stopped in got myself an hour long massage from an older, yet quite attractive, asian lady. Completly legit though.

Tried all the tricks rubbing her leg etc. but no luck.

They also do this thing I've never seen done before, but she made me put on boxer shorts. No blanket/sheet action.

On the plus side it was an excellent massage.

Today visited an accupuncture place that also does massage. Located on White near a grocery store. The place seemed a little open. Not real private inside. I settled for a one hour massage. Received an odd massage but good from a middle aged kinda cute asian lady. She was friendly but didn't get any hints that anything more was possible. Another contribution to the legit massage business in Bakersfield.

Went back to a certain AMP today (Saturday) hoping that a new girl would be there, but alas it was the same lady that was there before.

Luckiliy, some one else walked in ahead of me and got an hour massage leaving me free to walk out and not come back.

This is the the AMP I wrote about a few weeks back. Since we know that the place is legit. Its Grapevine Accupunture, the same place that was shutdown awhile back. I was there yesterday morning also, got a legit 45 min massage for 60. She was a mid-age Asian woman (kinda cute,i would do her). Decent massage,but got nowhere close to my package. Had the boxer shorts on and she had to know I had a woody,tried rubbing her leg and had my hand all over her cute butt but nothing. Unless I hear different, I will consider this place legit. TD

Finding a decent SW in Bakersfield is a lost cause in this day and era. Years ago that certainly wasn't the case. The city always had a few "healthy" looking SWs to choose from. In recent years they have all disappeared. The ones left all look old, wrinkled and totally unhealthy. For the past couple of years I haven't even wasted the time trying too look.
