Nothing is perfect but I don't like making my pickup on the hwy for all to see.

Slow on approach, eye contact, nod of the head, turn off to side street or business lot, pull to legal stop out of traffic preferably between cars, foot off pedal to kill brake lights, reel in with eyes, no business discussion through window.

Absolutely dead-on about that walking and pick-up technique...and if I still have doubts, I park in some business parking lot, or go in a Stop and Rob for a coke, and watch her for a few minutes before I make the decision to make that eye contact and turn down the side street....if she covers a couple of blocks steadily walking along and looking, I figure she probably doesn't have backup eyeballin' her from a vehicle with dark windows across the street or in a parking lot. If I see something that even suggests cop parked on side street or lot, then that's bad news, too...if she wasn't a cop and they're workin' a sting, you can bet your court appearance they would have already hustled her out of the area. She gets in, I roll on, then we start a little chat about what we're up to.

Good stuff all. As many of you know, 95% of my contact in the last 25 yrs of doing this has been with the SW's. Mainly I have written about an awful lot of the dumb stuff I have witnessed that many have done over the years while pursuing the hobby. Guys, its still only a piece of ass. It ain't worth gettin hooked up over. But heed the advice of making eye contact, pulling over into a lot, not negotiating though a window, not nailed to one spot, and most of all, if it don't feel right, it ain't right.
Listen, to possibly miss out on one here and there is well worth it as opposed to having 3 squares and a cot for a night or two, plus the fine, plus the record, plus the embarrassment, plus the butt of jokes for years to come, plus possibly a divorce, plus the alimony, plus a record, plus the alimony, plus maybe losing custody of the kids, plus the alimony, etc etc. Look through the past year or two for great ideas on how and what to do to stay safe so you can do it another day, and then another day after that. It is some real sound advice. DON'T do some of the things that I wrote about that I have seen in the past, it draws very, very much unwanted attention to everyone.
On a lighter note, was cruisin Boulder this AM, and saw a blond with the biggest boobs I have seen in along time. High heels, blond, 5'9", and on a cell phone the whole time. Finally got off the phone, and I tellin ya, there must have been about 15 cars lined up to pounce. A couple even pulled over in the motel 6 lot next to Stop and Rob, and she didn't get the hint (see above). One of you lucky guys stopped in a big pickup, and she hopped in. Looked around and no LE, but somebody followed that truck for a ways before I lost them in the rear view. Either her pimp, (no way she wan't pimped out as that cell was a constant companion with her ear), or someone hopin that she named to high a price and would get out if the guy wouldn't pay. Two others also, one short brunette and another that was a BBW to be kind. Then its just like someone pulled the plug, and nada for the next 30 minutes so I went back home to my digs on midtown Flamingo.

There was a black unmarked crusing Boulder. I also saw a blonde WSW hanging out at the corner of Trop, by the weekly apartments that look like a castle. I then noticed 3 Metro B&Ws in the parking lot behind her, waiting for someone to make a move.

Using a "stay where you play" strategy, I'm going to stay along Boulder Highway for the first time later this month. I've picked up a couple times while cruising The Rock, but have had to make them car dates, which I'm never very comfortable with. Besides the obvious option of leaving Sam's Town to cruise up and down Boulder Highway, are there any other locations where local talent can be encountered? For example, is there any area within Sam's Town where some might hang out, or are there any local watering holes in the area where take-out might be available?
I have never encountered anyone that I even suspected to be CG at Sams, but some casinos seem to have plenty on hand....have seen SW/CG all over LV, however, including on the strip during the daytime, inside Flamingo and other places....varies widely from one hour to the next and day to day. If you'll search the forum, I'm sure you'll discover a lot likely watering holes with take-out sometimes, sometimes not, available.

I just noticed this week that the Black Velvet Ad is gone that was above the DKRV place.
Plenty times while cruising the Rock I fantasized about that girl in the ad. I know I aint the only one that miss her. Now they got a ad for some damn spanish music station with old folks singing.

Been seeing some chickens strolling around the suites near flamingo. Also been spotting trannies in the area, keep a eye out on them.
It seems business picks up after 6pm when it cools off. The extreme heat is too much for the girls during the day.
A lot of action is happening inside Boulder station and Sams town.

I also picked up one late at night near Arizona Charlie's a few days ago for thirty. Light skinned BSW, says she's local and has lived here a long time but is living in the Motel 6 on Boulder, just average to OK on looks but good company and not a tweaker.
Asked her about problems with Metro, she said she'd been questioned several times while out walking but aside from running her info to verify no wants or warrants she said she didn't feel she had any problem continuing to work. After the eye contact I was extra cautious on how I completed the pickup, and she was very smart in understanding a nod of the head & hand gesture, and followed right away what I wanted her to do to get off Boulder for our mutual safety, to make the connection well out of the limelight of the main drag, so maybe she flys under the radar better than the average SW.
