Long time no reports so ...
A lot of time since last report. Not much happened but I got some dreams:

Peterson and Elston spas.
I kept seeing the ads for Oriental Spas on Peterson and Elston, so I thought I'd check one of them out.
My first stop was the Peterson location. It's in a rather old and fairly dumpy medical office from the late 60's-early 70's. I wandered through the building and could not figure out which room was the spa. Meanwhile, there were actually a couple of legit offices and I felt kinda creepy walking through the halls over and over. So after a couple of head-scratching moments, I left.
Does anybody know where the spa actually is in this building? I entered in the main door, turned right and went to the first floor. I didn't see anything that looked like an open spa.
I thought I'd check out the other location on Elston. I decided if I couldn't find it, I'd go to my favorite spa on Gunnison.
Fortunately, this spa was exactly where it said it would be. This one is in a storefront and looks like a standard massage joint. I was met by a thin 20-something Chinese woman. She was pretty cute with long black hair. She wore black leggings and a t-shirt with a rather cool death's head on it. She took me to the first room and set me up on a standard massage table. The room was colder than shit, so she cranked up some space heaters. It got a little better after 10 min. I paid for the hour and got on the table.
Massage was okay. She didn't really know what she was doing. At one point she put her knee on my thigh, one hand on my ribs, and her other hand on the opposite shoulder and pressed. Is that supposed to be a thing? It seemed like something someone must have taught her, but it didn't do anything. The rest of her massage technique was similar. She got a little better when it became "soft touch." While on my stomach, she let me feel up her (nice) calves.
After a fairly uninspiring backrub, I flipped over. The front rub was better, but still pretty lame. Just when I thought she was warming up to me, the buzzer sounded and she had to get a let in another guy. She bundled him off to another room and came back to me.
I made my move and she forcefully rejected my request for additional services and delivered a rather standard HE. I got some OTC roaming, but not much else. She did seem to have adequate HE skills.
Total damage was 105 for an hour.
In summary, she is probably 20 years younger than the masseuses at my regular spa, but she also lacks 20 years of massage experience. For my money, I'd rather go to Gunnison Spa.
OTOH, if I'm ever able to find the spa on Peterson, I'd give that a go. I don't know of too many good spas nearer the Lake on the north side. I wish I could find a walk-up place closer to Andersonville / Lincoln Square.
