I've never had a problem using another site with my cc. As far as the SO, set up a cc and have the statement sent to your work. That's what I do. The secretary hands me a nondescript envelope and says "this came for you". Simple. You could always write some reviews and get a free month depending how much you play. TER will let you cancel at any time without hassle.
